Just ok
The hotel is very rundown. The first room i was given had an overwhelming stench of mildew and mold. I asked for a new one, it was so bad. I found out 2 other people from our group had to do the same. Towels were stained. Heating worked about half the time - mostly didnt work in the ealry evening hours when i assume it was used / turned on the moat. Breakfast was very poor quality. The one positive is the bed was great and i heard my coworkers remark the same. Ao their slogan doesnt lie about that lol.
la stanza presentava alcune lacune, finestre sigillate, macchie sulla moquette e bagno cieco senza ventilazione. Bene il personale e la colazione.
Staff was friendly which was the biggest plus. Breakfast had enough options but could have more options, like any cheese, any vegetable toppings or dark bread. The absolute biggest minus though is the fact that you cannot open the window in your room and the extractor fan is just not doing its job. This means that staying in a family room it becomes very damp, hot, cramped and stuffy. Actually hard to sleep because you don't feel you get enough air. Location is also far from anything unless you have reasons to be in this exact neighborhood.
.
Overall, our stay was okay. The staff were wonderful—very friendly and helpful—and they even allowed us to check in early. Breakfast was also good. However, we were quite disappointed because the hotel was listed with free self-parking when we booked, but upon arrival, there was no parking available. The only option was paid street parking across the road, costing £23.31 every 4 hours for three days. It was only free between 3:30 PM and 9:00 AM.
Good location and staff was very good, full service. The room was not quite what we hoped for, quite moist/moldy unfortunately... we asked for new room but the hotel was fully booked. Breakfast was good, kids happy. We got to go very early one day and the fixed muffin and juice/coffe.
We stayed at the County hall building dubbed as the posh premier inn with a great view , when we arrived we where told there isn't a view so they've refunded the extra I paid for a view ,one person on check inn that didn't really have a clue what he was doing , when I came for breakfast they had only added one person but charged for 2 , explained this to the manager there they sorted it out but seemed very disinterested , we wasnt told in advance about the no view so no chance to change hotels. I wouldn't recommend this one youre better off staying at the more friendly one at the end of Waterloo station. At least they smile.
I hâd such an amazing stay, the staff was so nice and helpfull at all Times, breakfast was hot and where good, and the room was where nively cleaned.
I just want to say that there are some of those you meet who cater for your needs in this business whom you love and those whom leave a disappointment 😞 The younger females within the restaurant were rude and uncaring natured and I believe need better training for thier mannerisms ect,But that's my only complaint as this hotel is great otherwise,The managers are fantastic and very business like,But this one woman sisay she was amazing and made me feel special shes so loving and kind and one of the hardest workers thier that made my stay that extra special, I hope shes given a promotion she deserves it and I would say this hotel would not be so great a stay without her.
In my personal experience, I would strongly advise not staying at this Premier Inn under any circumstances. During my visit, 8 cars — including mine — were smashed in on the same night in the car park right beside the hotel. When I spoke to the manager, I was told this has happened before, which means this is a recurring and known problem.
Despite knowing this, the hotel offers no warnings, no visible security, and no clear signage explaining that the car park is operated by a third party. Guests are left believing the parking is part of the hotel — until something goes wrong.
What shocked me even more was the hotel’s response. There was no help, no empathy, and no sense of responsibility whatsoever. Premier Inn immediately distanced themselves and left guests to deal with the damage entirely on their own.
Based on how this incident was handled, and the fact that the hotel seems aware of ongoing break-ins, I personally would not stay at this location again — and I will be extremely cautious about using any Premier Inn in the future. If something happens to you or your vehicle, in my experience, you will receive no support at all.
For your own safety, money, and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
We had a quick one night stay during a London layover and we picked this hotel due to proximity to things we wanted to see. We were very pleased with the hotel. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and we have no complaints.
The room was clean, comfortable and incredibly quiet. Staff were ultra helpful, friendly and welcoming. It's the second time I have stayed here for business purposes and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Food was great.
We only chose this hotel as we had a trade event to attend at County Hall. We had stayed with Premier Inn in other locations in the past and felt they were good value for money and rooms were smart.
Well - what a horrible experience for the 9 nights we were there. There is no ramp for luggage and as we had knee issues we simply couldn't carry the bags up stairs. Fortunately a member of the public stepped in to assist.
And our transfer car could not get closer to the hotel due road barriers so we had to drag our bags along the road. No mention of this on the hotel's website
Check in staff generally helpful in a trying situation.
We had chose a Premium Room with a view !!! A very limited view if you craned your neck. The room whilst large, had a ripped headboard. I omitted to take a picture of this.
The shower blocked up the first night and the bathroom floor nor loo were not cleaned all week. We had to call housekeeping for fresh sheets as the bed hadn't been changed after 4 nights. And we kept having to remind them to provide water. As there is no way to contact the front desk other than to return to reception, it became a tiring exercise. One particular maid was in a right state about being called back to change our bed and stomped in, yanked the sheets off etc etc and never said a word.
Converted to our New Zealand dollar this equated to over $530 per night which, compared to what we could buy here at the same rate, was expensive.
If one complained to reception one was offered a free breakfast. We tried that once and the food was just awful.
On check out the lovely receptionist on duty said she had filed our complaint, and we subsequently wrote to the CEO of Premier Inn but not one person has deigned to respond. An offer a a one night refund would have been appreciated considering all the issues we had encountered. It would be helpful if Premier Inn had a Duty Manager to take care of major issues rather than leaving to the one receptionist.
This experience has completely turned us away from Premier Inn and we will choose not to stay with this particular chain in future.
Our stay wasn’t the best. The queues at check-in were ridiculous — long at all times of day, not just during peak hours. There simply weren’t enough staff members available to help guests who needed a real person. There were plenty of self-check-in screens, but many people still needed assistance, and with only one or two staff on duty, the wait was always long. On a positive note, there was security present, which did make me feel safe. The lobby itself was very basic.
We stayed in a family room, which unfortunately wasn’t very clean. When we moved one of the single beds, we found an empty milk pot and a pink pen lid underneath. There were also human hairs left on the toilet and bathtub. On the brighter side, the shower was lovely, and the provided toiletries — shower gel, hair gel, and hand soap — were appreciated as we were trying to pack light.
One major issue was the bathroom door. It slams shut and can’t be kept open, which meant we were all woken incredibly early by neighbouring rooms doing the same thing around 6:30am. Combined with general noise early in the morning, it didn’t make for a restful sleep unless you’re up at that time anyway.
The room itself was spacious enough for the four of us for one night. The TV, desk, and mirror were all great. However, the bathroom had no ventilation, which was a bit odd.
We ate in the hotel restaurant, and that also wasn’t great. The food was slow to come out. My son’s spaghetti bolognese was disappointing — a tiny bowl of what looked like microwave spaghetti with no garlic bread, just a quarter of a corn on the cob and some peas. He was still very hungry afterward. The rest of us ordered burgers, which we’ve enjoyed at other Premier Inns, so we thought we’d be safe. We weren’t. Each plate had about nine chips, which was honestly pathetic; we had to order extra chips because the portions were so small. My burger was overcooked, and the coleslaw tasted strange, possibly even off.
Breakfast was okay. The chef comes across a bit brash — possibly just a language barrier — but it did feel abrupt. My mother-in-law asked for veggie sausages and got a rather sharp response, and another guest received the same tone when requesting something cooked fresh. That said, the food was prepared and tasted nice. The choice at breakfast was good, though the cups had a strong egg-sulphur dishwasher smell.
Overall, based on location alone, I would stay again — but I wouldn’t eat there, and I’d definitely bring earplugs.
The staff Smriti was really very friendly. Hard working. Helped us with whatever we needed. She does an excellent job. She is an asset to this hotel.
Yesterday was in restaurant in the evening. Food was amazing. Amal was amazing and very chatty. He is a star for Premier Inn.
A really nice premier inn in a great location. Rooms recently renovated and staff helpful and friendly, bed comfy shower powerful.
Overall 4/5. Most people know what to expect from a Premier Inn. Location is 10 minutes walk from Chiswick High Street and is ideal if driving. Hotel layout is odd, building is back to front. The reception desk is 2 floors up. Its a bit of a maze of corridors to get in and dosent have that welcoming feeling most hotels have. Everything else is functional and room is a good size.
Clean, quiet and with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was ample and very nice. Faye made us feel very special and was good with all the guests. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Full marks. Will be revisiting again soon.
