Very clean, comfortable and quiet room with helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location on the sea front, with a free hotel car park just around the corner. The restaurant was closed for refurbishment but the hotel provided free tea, coffee, croissants and fruit in reception in the mornings.
Very friendly staff clean room and bathroom easy check in and check out. Staff help out with facilities and where very natural in conversation
We always stay at this Premier Inn when visiting family & friends. It’s convenient for us as it is in an area we are familiar with.
The rooms are comfortable and this particular one - no:125 - was very quiet.
The staff are always friendly & helpful and it’s good value for money.
Nathan and his team in the restaurant could not be more helpful, Caroline on the premier inn hotel side is more than helpful nothing is to much trouble , I shall be back
nice staff on reception nothing too much trouble .. as ime disabled blogger cant reccomend this place enough .. huge bed low bath with shower .. large bedroom great for wheelchairs .. sea view from window.. extra pillows brought up on request .. disability accesible room .. booking for xmas now .. ignore bad reviews
Normally our stay at Redhill is very good but due mixup over room request took the edge off. Also the fact that the reception phone was on silent so had a long walk to speak to reception for a bath towel.
An overnight stay with friends meant picking somewhere convenient for all coming in from different parts of southern England. Hence this PI. Good points: friendly reception and bar staff, excellent shower, very comfortable bed and comfortably priced drinks in bar. Not so good: the meal in the Beefeater restaurant next door. I had probably the worst steak I have had in the last five years. If the kitchen are prepared to serve up a slab of rubbery, warm, greasy and unappetising meat then I thought I should at least try and eat it. But it was truly horrible. What made it even worse was the bitter tasting ‘Steak’ sauce. I considered asking for a replacement (with no guarantee of improvement) but that would have left me eating on my own after my friends had finished eating their respective food choices - not steaks. I mentioned my disappointment to the very friendly table server and she was sympathetic. 18 hours later I am still slowly and painfully trying to digest the last (I hope) of that steak.
The reception was more than helpful and it was a great experience checking in. Originally, I was in room 106, but it had no wireless internet connectivity. The reception changed me to room 6 hoping I would get better connectivity downstairs. No luck and as helpful as reception was, they are not IT experts nor should they be. In 2025 there is really no excuse not to have solid wireless coverage throughout the hotel. Reception even gave me an access pass for the fast wireless, but there was no signal in either room.
Later, when I went to the attached restaurant at 7 pm for a table for one person, they told me the next available time was 8:30 and I was not allowed to order food at the bar, nor for carry out back to the room. It would be great if they work out a take to the room solution in such cases.
The location of this hotel is great. But im afraid it stops there. We were allocated a room on the 1st floor. The entire corridor smelt of damp and mould.
The room was ok but we had dirty cups and which needed to be changed. The shower curtain was too long and sat in the bath. The plug had rust all around it. The curtains in the room itself were stained and looked like a wash wouldn’t hurt.
The hotel was quite noisy during the night with people coming back to their rooms.
The staff were rude and ignorant and not very welcoming at all. The car park is a short walk from the hotel only a minute or two away.
I wouldn’t stay here again if the rooms were free. While we were there we heard a couple of guests complaining about bed bugs. Luckily our room was bed bug free.
Dont bother! Tired, dirty and food not great. Needs an overhaul. Such a shame as location is great. Invest and work on catering it may improve.

All ok, no real issues, the standard is premier inn.
Most we stay at are the same. Good service, friendly staff.
Drinks, food all ok, no issue here, great location for the beech, car parking also.
Premier Inn should be ashamed of keeping this hotel open. It is run down and worn out. It is rude to charge what they do for such tired and not very clean facilities. I sense they know that people will keep staying there because of being close to Gatwick Airport. The Beefeater next door is also in the same poor condition and very dingy, with sticky tables. Some of the staff, at the hotel and The Beefeater, are very loyal and good at their jobs.
The hotel is an average Premier Inn , rooms are clean and quiet, we stayed the night before a flight from Gatwick Airport & it served a purpose. The property could do with some TLC, as could the attached Beefeater restraunt which is not very inviting by appearances.
Bed was comfortable, however when getting ready for bed noticed blood on the duvet and 2 pillows.
We notified reception and they came and changed the bed within 5 minutes.
The travel cot provided is very thin but baby slept fine.
The location was good for beach front and work.
Clean and tidy
Staff Friendly
Was booked in from work was asked to pay £199.95 for one night meal deal on top
Prices soar up because it was a saturday and a gig on across the road.how disgusting it goes up x3 for saturday and gig.
Breakfast was not even warm beans mushrooms etc all quite on the cold side, fresh tomatoes not even cooked
good choice of cold breakfast
Poor selection of diet drinks
We regularly stay in Premier Inns across the UK, but our recent stay in Rhyl on the 13th Sept 2025 was very disappointing!
On arrival we noticed our duvet had visible holes (more than an inch long), but it was clean, so we didn’t really mind. We went to bed at 11pm and that’s when we heard loud footsteps continually pacing around the room above us. Roll on to 3am and without being able to get any sleep, we’d just about had enough and went down to reception to explain the situation. They reassured us that they would go and knock on their door. From the raised voices above we knew the staff had tried to improve the situation, but sadly the noise from above continued. By 4.30am we had had enough, packed up and went down to reception. We rang the desk bell, but no response. So after not a wink of sleep we drove the long journey home.
Now Premier Inn always send me a courtesy email asking how they did, but not after this visit! I’m really disappointed with the way the situation was handled. When you spend £145 for a room for the night and then get no sleep, I would expect an acknowledgement and offer of compensation. I will never be staying here again after such a disappointing experience!
Stayed at the Premier Inn in rhyl many many times and always enjoyed it especially the gran children enjoy staying, however recent stays have been disappointing, the old staff with experience are no longer there, and new untrained staff have replaced them, we couldn't eat there as the restaurant was closed for staff training, very bad management.
There was an element of trepidation prior to our arrival having read some of the online reviews.
Staff on duty when we checked in were friendly & helpful making for a stress free experience.
Some of the decor in corridors & room were a little tired but not unexpected or unacceptable in a busy & well used hotel, general cleanliness was to an acceptable standard.
Our accessible accommodation was located on second floor (well serviced by two lifts) in a quiet area towards end of corridor. Noise levels throughout stay were very good, & the bed as always very comfortable.
Although limited in number, we had the use of disabled parking bay adjacent to entrance for duration of stay.
The restaurant staff were friendly & very accommodating, the quality of food available was both fresh & very good.
We booked into this hotel as we were attending a wedding close by and we are from London. We arrived at reception and then made our way to our room , it was just after midnight on the 3rd August.
The window to the room was open, the room smelt bad, there was hair to be seen in the bathroom , and no air con , but there was a fan that would cut out every few hours, which kept disturbing our sleep. The room was very dated and needs an upgrade.
We had paid to have a breakfast and may I sat that was not what we expected, we had to wait quite a long time for someone to take our order and when it finally arrived you could found the number of baked beans in the plate, rations. The table was sticky, the cups dirty, and the staff looked fed up.
Bad experience all around at this hotel, would not recommend.
