Lovely staff . Great bed and bedding......lovely breakfast
.......................lovely meal ...... .............
The room was fine but the so called unlimited breakfast was a complete disaster I was told as I took my table at 09.15 that there was no black pudding no tomatoes no mushrooms so being diabetic that’s two items I always eat then I asked for two poached eggs but was told they couldn’t do poached eggs as there was a problem with the gas ! But they were doing fried eggs so I think the cook was not able to poach an egg half the tables were full of dirty plates and cups so a very bad experience for £10.99
Ideal location for the airport. Room OK, everything you could need. Easy check in. £7 to park overnight, don't forget to get QR code slip from reception and pay at parking kiosk just outside reception when leaving. Restaurant/pub OK with pleasant staff, decent food and drink choice but a little costly. Pint of Moretti over £7, wow.
Ideal location for where we were going. Lovely spacious room and the bed was very comfortable.
No noise throughout the night which was great.
Space for our car under the building. It cost us £18 for 48 hours.
We stayed for tea on our first night which didn't run smooth unfortunately. Not sure if they were down on staff but we waiting a long time for someone to come and sit us at a table so we took it upon ourselves to find a table. We ordered our meal which took nearly an hour to come. They then forgot to put through my 4 year olds meal so had to wait a further 10 minutes for that. The staff member did reduce the cost of our bill for the inconvenience which we did appreciate. The two lads were very appologetic and were very polite.
Breakfast on the first morning was lovely. Good selection of hot food and hot drinks.
Second morning unfortunately wasnt as good. We were issued a card with our key that stated that breakfast finished at 1030. We headed down at 945 which we were greeted to a not so impressed lady who abruptly told me it finished at 10 despite what our card said. She did later tell us not to rush as she realised we were miss informed but the situation made us feel very uncomfortable and rushed.
I would stay again as the room we couldn't fault and also would stay again for breakfast. Unfortunately not again for evening meals.
We needed just a nice room for an overnight stop ahead of a visit to Harrogate on the Saturday. We found this Premier Inn which is about a 30 min drive into the town, just up the road from Leeds/Bradford airport. Nice, clean and quiet. Just off the beaten track and with an attached restaurant so we had a nice dinner on the Friday and breakfast on the Saturday. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Everything you expect from a Premier Inn.
Located very near to the airport. Plenty of parking although charges are quite high (private car park) £7 for the night was only £5 last year.
Rooms are comfortable but are looking a bit tired now. Plenty of tea and coffee. Beds are very comfortable. Bar doesn’t open until 5pm ☹️ but the food is very reasonable and good quality. Plenty of choice. Restaurant is also looking a bit tired and needs re vamping. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
We had a wonderful stay before our flight the next day. Every member of staff we met was friendly and courteous, and when I casually mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary we were surprised with a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates - they didn't have to go the extra mile, but it really made our evening special.
Our room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel itself was quiet and relaxing and the restaurant looked lovely. We treated ourselves to a dessert each, which was delicious!
Breakfast was unlimited, but it was cooked to order - a big plus for us! No stale, lukewarm food like you can get from a buffet.
Overall it was a fantastic stay just 5 mins from the airport. Great little room, atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were exceptional. We wouldn't hesitate to come back.
P.S. its also right across from Murgatroyds, an incredible fish and chips restaurant - which is on another level!
The water pressure in the shower is unforgivably poor!
It's the same in pretty much ALL your hotels these days. Whereas once it was a point of pride for Premier Inn, boasting "powerful showers" on the hotel pages - now I could get a better shower stood outside in the rain.
On top of the fact that fewer and fewer have detachable shower-heads, it makes for a miserable experience.
I'm a big guy, and I can shower in 5-10 minutes at home, depending on how much of a rush I'm in, whereas at your hotels it now reguarly takes 20+ minutes, purely because the showers take so much longer to wash the soap off - and because I can't position the shower head to blast the water off directly, I have to hope it runs down me in the right way and washes it off.
I plugged in the plug in the bath here to see how much water I actually use your way, and the bath was nearly full to the overflow hole! What a complete and utter waste. However, as I stay here for work, I need to make sure I start the day clean and fresh with a proper shower.
It really is a bitterly disappointing experience, and one I end up ranting about whenever anyone asks me about my stay at Premier Inns.
Room was dated but clean. Spacious room, bed was comfortable but do need to climb on as high off ground. Bathroom wasn't too bad. Shower head could do with a clean. A little bit of damp above the bath. But not too bad. Maybe have a look at it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall not a bad hotel.
As you would expect from this brand. Comfy rooms well spaced out with everything you need for your stay. Well located for the airport and clean and warm. The check in was quick and friendly welcome. Seven pounds to park over night. The only negative was the shower water pressure was very poor as the shower head was far too large for the volume of water going through it.
Great bang for your buck. On site parking, optional breakfast, and a comfy and spacious bedroom. What more could you ask for.
The skirting boards showed visible dirt accumulation, and cobwebs were present throughout the property, particularly noticeable in the stairwell. Since guests must use the stairs due to the absence of lifts, these high-traffic areas should be maintained to a higher standard. The housekeeping team would benefit from implementing a more thorough cleaning checklist.
O my awful! Only nice thing about it was the staff. So check in was absolutely fine lovely lady. Then the walk up the stairs which were filthy hallway smelt awful. Room especially bedding smelt of smoke the next morning after a sleepless night due to the smell of dampness and the floor being wet near the window. Thought to have a good shower. The hair dryer once I got it to work crackled and several broken bits of plastic fell out then it stopped working went down to ask fir a replacement hairdryer was told there was not one so I had to use my own head a go to the disabled loe and dry my hair with The blower. Not a great experience at all. I have stayed at many other premiers but now if this is the standard I will be taking the app of my phone ps the dinner was just awful the only fully edible bit was the prawn cocktail
An exceptionally friendly team both in the hotel and the restaurant. The hotel was clean, with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
We asked for a quiet room at the back of the hotel and it was just perfect, no traffic noise whatsoever. Thank you Vic on reception.
Booked two rooms prior to our flight. Was slightly worried after reading the negative reviews.
We were checked in quickly by a friendly receptionist who explained how to pay for the car park.
One of the rooms was on the ground floor and was a family room with a double bed, single and the cot was there as requested. Not a huge room but it was clean and adequate for what we needed. Our room was on the first floor. We had booked a double but I think it was also a family room as it has a single bed in an alcove area. . It was a large room. Again, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and plenty of hot water.
No issues and would book again.
Stayed for a weekend
Hotel was clean, tidy and well stocked.
The staff were absolutely fantastic and could not have been more helpful.
Unfortunately they don’t have many staff to manage the bar, breakfasts and the hotel. But they made our stay very welcoming, they accommodated for our large family with a smile and a positive attitude.
Was very impressed and will be back again.
Peter and Jenny were super helpful, and offered help and advice when asked. They made our stay excellent.
Attend regularly to watch Leeds play, and meet friends up there.
Staff know me now after staying there so often over the past couple of years and the service and attitude of the staff is to be commended, the food on offer is always fresh.
A special mention should also go to the staff you very rarely see who work tirelessly behind the scene to ensure your rooms are spic & spam, so a special mention must go out to Mandy the house keeper and her team, you do a wonderful job and although we don't that much of you and the team, I appreciate your hard work that ensures my stay is a pleasant one.
Eric Philippides.
Will be back in a couple of weeks and look forward to seeing the team again.
PS
Karren hope the wedding went well.
Absolutely worst hotel experience I have ever had. I was put in room #1 which is right next to the door to the reception as well as the stairwell. The room has _zero_ sound insulation so every time someone exited or entered the reception area, the door would slam shut. The room vibrated with every slam. Additionally, you heard every stomp of feet on the staircase.
I checked out at 3:15am because it was a waste of time to stay any longer.
Everything about this place is fabulous. The fact that you can have a little fresh air in , quiet spot very friendly clean and with plenty of parking.
The staff are wonderful and the food and service were amazing. You can tell that a lot of pride is taken with this establishment . Well done to everybody concerned
We had read the reviews prior to arriving and were a little apprehensive about staying here. When we checked in you have to ring the bell which alerts the restaurant and someone attends to check you in, and we were met by a friendly lady who checked us in and advised us on paying for the carpark before exiting the next morning, you do receive a QR voucher which you scan at the machine for the discount. The carpark rate is £7 for 24 hours. The rooms are a little dated and could do with a revamp. We visited the restaurant bar for drinks and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the bar shuts at 10 o'clock, there were people coming in for drinks after this and were unable to be served. Overall not as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be. We didn't dine here so cannot comment on the food.
