Everything was to my complete satisfaction. Just one small thing as I am small the bed was a little high to get into but once I was in it very comfortable and cosy
Room OK. Restaurant badly understaffed for dinner. The waitress was doing her best in a busy restaurant, trying to manage bar, taking orders and serving food on her own. We sat for two hours and only managed one course!!!!. Breakfast was better with two waitresses.
Clean hotel and room. Food very good, though service was a little slow at breakfast on first night of stay with only 1 member of staff, but was fine during other meals.
Room very clean. Bed comfortable. And staff friendly and helpful. Had both breakfast and dinner both very good value for money
Lovely hotel, recently refurbished, very comfortable and nice friendly staff. Restaurant is good value for money and is definitely stay again.
Friendly helpful staff , good breakfast . Clean place there were quite lot of options for breakfast although the place looks small but it was well organised .
Good location to tourist places like Windsor , direct bus services for the hotel to Windsor castle . Hotel
Was quite and it was clean
Great quiet location, hotel rooms nice, clean bedding, lovely bathroom, staff were nice but the hotel was very understaffed and it showed at the breakfast time as they could not cope with the customers who were all asking where their breakfast was!!
The worst Premier Inn I have ever stayed in.
The reason for this is the failure of management to employ enough staff, which then equals appalling service. One member of staff on the front desk, one serving behind the bar and one serving in the restaurant. We waited 45 minutes for our order to be taken in the restaurant, the meal was wrong when it arrived 45 minutes later and the chef was actually bringing meals out from the kitchen to the tables!
In the morning, things were just as poor. Again, we waited 25 minutes for someone to come and take our order (during which time a couple who arrived after us were served before us) and another 30 minutes of waiting before breakfast arrived. You should not have to wait for 55 minutes for a breakfast.
This particular Premier Inn is best avoided and I whereas previously the company would be first choice for an overnight stay, I'll carefully check any reviews before booking with them in future.
Have stayed at the Slough Central a number of times now. The friendly and helpful staff make this Premier Inn stand out! Well done all! I will be back!
Breakfast
Visited slough central premier inn for breakfast with my family , it was amazing was a bit busy but the restaurant and the breakfastwas nice
The service was lovely and the room was clean. Me and my husband thought the breakfast was excellent and we would stay there again.
Me & family booked this premier Inn from 30 Oct to 2 Nov but I am not happy with this stay.
There are no car parking even you re ready to pay.
Lift is not working which given me lot of pressure to the luggage down from staircase.
Lift key button was broken.
many time, Room Keys is not working.
having used this venue on many occasions when visiting the NEC we found this visit sadly lacking. The corridors are very grubby needing a good vacuum clean. We asked for a ground floor twin room on arrival we were informed that they had managed to change things around to accommodate us even though i had telephoned at time of booking to ensure our needs would be met due to disability and no lift at this venue i always use premier inns procedures to provide my booking number and requirements. The restaurant is no longer a beefeater and this area looks very worn and neglected. The carpeting again could benefit from a good clean. The upholstery needs repair or recovering. Staff seem to work reception making beds and working in the restaurant serving meals . This is not the premier inn establishment we are used to
Great location for Legoland. Although no car parking on site, there is a multistorey less than a minutes walk away. Safe and secure, locked at night. The team are to be commended for making a fuss of our son who's birthday was while we were away. I'd enquired into a local balloon shop, and the team said they'd sort it. We were welcomed to a room full of balloons, banners, chocolates and sweets for our boys. It was such a lovely touch, and all the staff who met our son with his big birthday badge on, wished him well and made a fuss.
The lifts were in the process of being fixed, but this is the only downside for our stay
Spent two nights for a family day trip. Rooms are as expected for Premier Inn, but a little tired compared to some others we’ve stayed at. Breakfast was busy but plenty of food options and didn’t need to wait more than a minute to get seated both days.
Good base for exploring local attractions such as Legoland. Tesco express right next door if you need any trip supplies.
There is no parking on site, but there is a large multi-storey carpark a few minutes walk away on Herschel Street. It’s locked between 10pm-7am but was a reasonable rate (most we paid was £10 for evening to mid-morning), and was well lit and had loads of spaces.
Overall, a reliable stay as you would expect from Premier Inn, and a good base for exploring the area.
Premier Inn Solihull Hockley Heath.
What a nightmare. Waited for ages to check in as their wasn't anyone on reception. The lady on reception was pleasant when she turned up.
We decided to book a meal deal.
When we turned up our meal we then found out why it took so long for the receptionist to arrive and that was because she was trying to help the only member of staff. The only member of staff covering the bar, waitressing and sitting people at the table.
This poor lady was stressed to hell. Not a nice thing to witness. She was trying her best but should have never been placed in that position. Once we we sat down to order. Obviously we had to wait to order. Then my food took an hour to arrive and my husbands never arrived because it wasn't ordered. In the end we got our meal deal refunded and made the decision to eat elsewhere.
The bed was lumpy and hard. We put the heating on the couldn't work out how to turn it off so the room was very warm as the temperature was set at 30 degrees and the system wouldn't let us turn it down.
We have stayed at premier inns before but never experienced anything like this before.
Stayed here while on a trip to Windsor/London. Good location, easy drive to Windsor or a short walk to Slough train station with regular fast trains into centre of London (20mins to Paddington Station). We used the off-site car park just around the corner on Herschel Street which worked out around £10 per 24hrs. Hotel was clean, and the rooms exactly what you expect from a Premier Inn. The staff were approachable, welcoming and very helpful. Check in and out was very straightforward. We had breakfast most days and ate in the restaurant a couple of times with the meal deal option. Food was enjoyable and very reasonably priced, especially given other prices locally. We would definitely stay again or recommend if you are happy to stay slightly out of London and benefit from more reasonable hotel prices.
We have stays here in October two years in a row. Should have known better the second time. The rooms are generally clean but some of the bathrooms smell of sewage and the hallway carpets look like they haven't been vacuumed in years. Avoid the on site restaurant as the food is very average and the service is at a glacial pace . We waited 45 minutes for them to take our order 1 hour for it to arrive. Considering there were only 5 other tables occupied and most of them were already eating this is poor.
Shout out to staff at Hockley Heath Premier Inn. A very busy night at the restaurant on Monday, Louise was run off her feet, despite being short staffed she still managed service with a smile and humour. Well done!
Same at breakfast, don’t have the waitress name, but she worked equally as hard.
