I had someone sleeping in my room!!!!
Beware, I was told if you have the same room key number in another hotel it could open your door. Worse still, I think someone just needs to show their room key (piece of paper) and get another key. This man in my bed was completely drunk. Absolute disgrace and a breach of safety. Won’t be staying in a premier inn again and will be reporting this to my workplace and to whichever partnering standards committee will listen. Terrible.
Stayed for 3 nights at the end of November. Check in was easy and very friendly. The room was warm and had everything we needed. Good shower and clean bathroom. Easy to use heating. Lovely comfortable bed. Meals were very good and reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Highly recommend just over 5 minutes walk from the station!
I stayed at Premier Inn Central Falkirk next door to the Beefeater, overlooking the canal so awake to beautiful sunrises. The room was a double bedroom with excellent Bayliss and Harding shower product and handwash. Hairdryer was eco friendly quiet and low heat. Double bed was exceptionally comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep. Everything was meticulously clean, quiet throughout the hotel. The service was welcoming warm and friendly and overall cost of my four day/3 night stay was good value for money as it included the meal deal 2 courses and a drink. I have stayed here previously in the past during April 2022 and that is why I wanted to return. I had travelled from the Cotswolds Broadway Worcestershire mainly by 1 hour taxi to Birmingham New Street Station then a 4 hour 20 minute train journey direct up to Edinburgh Waverley Station which is a beautiful train station and then had a 25 minute train journey out to Falkirk High Station where the taxi took me 10 minutes to my hotel. From 9.20 am leaving home to arriving 5.45 pm at the hotel I was ready for a delicious meal - I was not disappointed and the red wine was enjoyable. My visit was to meet up with my 80 year old mother who resides in the Falkirk area. I had been staying when Scotalnd won 4 goals against 2 goals to Denmark - so Scotland was celebrating the good news that they have qualified towards going to the World Cup for football in the USA next year/2026. This hotel is in an ideal location for anyone visiting the Falkirk Wheel which is a magnificent piece of engineering for moving the canal boats up in the air to help transport them on their way through the locks on the canal. There is also the Kelpies ( massive statues of two horses heads which can be seen for several miles ). It is only a 15/20 minutes walk into Falkirk town which also has Falkirk Grahamston Station cenre of town itself which contects to Edinburgh Waverley Station or Glasgow Queen Street Station or even Stirling Station. Scotland itself is a wonderful country to visit with breathtaking scenery and great rail transport. I would definately book with this hotel again as there is also good free car parking outside if required for anyone driving here.
Paid for an early check-in for a family room, check in desks broken and a curt employee asked what we wanted. After checking in the room was extremely smelly and mould on the ceiling. I requested a different room and was told I would have to leave the current room now and wait 4 hours in the reception for another room.
Absolutely minimal service level. Will not stay here again. It’s cheap but not worth the money, pay a little more and stay somewhere clean that does not smell.
Very good location for railway station, shops and bars. Rooms and corridors could do with a face-lift with the room looking very tired.
Very convenient hotel in the middle of New Town. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are adequate, no frills. Stayed in an accessible room, the bathroom was excellent. Great shower!
Fab location for most things … staff at check in and breakfast were all lovely . Will definitely be returning. Train station is just over the road so great of arriving by train.
Our stay was lovely, the room was nice - top floor with a view of the roof of the next building and a gargoyle type statue.
The food at the breakfast was nice, apart from on our 2nd morning when the meats (bacon and sausage) were room temperature, despite us being a few minutes early before the official breakfast time had started.
Only thing missing from the room was a toilet brush.
There was a peculiar brown liquid stain on the side table (hoping/telling myself it was chocolate milkshake).
We would really like to thank Fraizer and his team for making us feel so special and welcome
From arrival there was a mix up with the room booking due to main contact centre not direct with them
He sorted straight away and amended our booking, got the room ready and while we waited made a cup of tea.
The staff were all very attentive and could not do enough for myself and my mother.
Thank you so much and will be back.
Great location with lovely staff (especially Helen) a very nice breakfast and very comfortable rooms
The only minus is some surfaces in the room were a bit dusty, other than that, all good
Servicio acorde con el coste
This Premier Inn has a contemptuous attitude towards its staff and, thus, a contemptuous attitude toward the guests. Breakfast was shockingly poor. There were issues with poor quality fruit, but it was the understaffing that was the real issue. No eggs on Saturday and only one staff member at front of house who was overworked yet polite and facilitating. I would avoid eating at this Premier Inn.
The hotel is very well located. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately there is building work next door and my room must have been right next to it because i was woken up at 7:45 every morning to very loud drilling. I understand that its not possible for the hotel to control this, however knowing it is going on they should not be allocating rooms where this disruption is occurring. I tried a few times to go to reception to request a room change and there was no one there to speak to.
I recently stayed at the hotel due to location, it had everything you would expect at a Premier Inn. It was reasonably priced at £73 for a Monday night. Room was spacious and quiet, the bedding and towels were clean. My only criticism is that the public area looked tired and could do with a refresh and the carpets throughout need a deep clean as a minimum, reminded me of pub carpets! There was also obvious fluff all along the edges by the skirting boards. Would it stop me from stating again? No, it’s just an observation that it needs some attention.
The best Premier Inn I've ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and professional. The location was superb, the room was clean and of course the bed was comfortable. We were celebrating our 54th anniversary and everything came up to expectation. A special thanks to the lady who served us in the restaurant on Wednesday 30th.
Have started here before, but this time the hotel seemed a bit tired and in bed of dinner TLC. It's a shame the Beefeater had closed.
Bit disappointed.
Theatre Break- Arrived by train, hotel in great location for shopping and attending Playhouse. Checked in at 11am ( small charge ). Room was very clean and usual standard for a Premier Inn. Extra tea, coffee and milk available near to the reception. Hotel was fully booked but did not hear any noise. Breakfast buffet was great- shown to seat and waiter told us where everything was. Food was plentiful and piping hot. Staff constantly monitoring and replenishing promptly as and when required. All staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
We checked out early and made use of the hotel luggage room. Will be back!
The room was lovely, warm & clean. We didn’t experience any noise disturbance during the night or morning and slept right through until 11am!!
Convenient location 5 minutes drive from M3. Plenty of free parking for guests. Two blocks for accommodation and a large pub restaurant on site.
Helpful and friendly reception - system is simple with key card to get access to residential areas including room.
Large room, WiFi worked but basic, bed very comfortable. Water in bathroom hot and shower worked well.
Breakfast was good value - lots of choice and cooked well. It did take 10 minutes for vegan choices to be cooked on order but very tasty when it arrived. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant.
Whole place could do with a refresh but it was clean and great value for an overnight stay.
Reception staff helpful and polite.
Room mostly clean and tidy.
Cleaning staff helpful.
However, the on site catering at the Rosebank was average at best. Lack of basic foods (no bread buns for the burger, and no flat bread for the chicken dish), despite not appearing very busy. Staff’s perception of ‘busy’ seemed somewhat unaligned with reality.
Limited breakfast portions on the first day. This improved on the second day.
Not encountered an ‘unlimited’ breakfast menu where you order each time from a waiter. Confusing. Would look at an alternative in the future. Happy to discuss with Premier Inn management.
