The staff was very helpful and friendly food was very good .
Ester was very helpful with helping us to how things work.
We stayed for two nights had a evening meal and drinks .
Are room was clean and tidy plenty of tea and coffee in the room
Our first stay at the hotel post Covid but we had stayed there once or twice a year several years in a row pre Covid. We were very happy with out room all though one of the family, who had another room, smelt mold smell in the air. This was only one night so that person did not complain.
The bed was great and gave us a good night sleep after a long flight.
We felt the hotel was overall just the good old one since pre Covid. The bartender made is great cocktails and it was relaxing sitting in the lounge.
One letdown though........the registering for the room took a long time and wasn´t smooth. Afterwards we should have done it on line and we will do that next time around :)
Great hotel and pub opposite.
Very welcoming in both hotel and the pub.
Nice reasturant in the pub and good selection of food and drinks
Great location for everything. Attended a gig at the Dome which was only 5 mins walk away.... its across the road from joining 'The Lanes' for shopping and eating out. Train station is a 10/15 mins walk and also the seafront only 10 mins away. Staff really helpful and friendly... shout out to Louise... breakfast was really nice and had a really comfortable stay. Even found a couple of little welcome gifts left in the room which was really lovely :-). Would stay again!
Been going here to stay for Christmas shop with daughter for many years. Always have a certain room and ask for it every year. On arrival we checked in at the desk personally. The girl took a while looking to confirm our room. She said the lights weren’t working properly so found another similar room which we found looked the same. However I personally did not sleep at all well as the room in a very windy tunnel and the the howling wind kept me awake. Also found the lights round the mirror in the room did not work. I could not go through all the packing up to even mention it all to reception . So had a terrible sleep for two nights. Also noticed rooms are shabby.
Loved our stay at Brighton north street. A special thanks to Louise she made our stay so much better with her kindness and daily help. She went the extra mile with a smile.
Friendly and very accommodating.
Arrived late and asked about dinner options, was directed to the Restaurant across the street but told be quick as they stop orders at 20:30hrs.
I went straight over as it was 20:20hrs, was turned away immediately, not even offered a bar meal or anything.
Needless to say I was somewhat disappointed as my day started at 07:30hrs when I left Dunfermline to get there.
Now the good stuff, lady in the Premier Inn reception was lovely and gave me a sheet with a selection of places local to eat or request delivery.
I fell asleep on the super comfortable bed, woke up in the morning ready to eat for Scotland.
Breakfast was sublime, freshly cooked bacon and eggs with the nicest sausages I have ever eaten in an establishment like this.
The lady’s that looked after me, Tracy and Kelly were the difference to a lovely breakfast to a truly great experience of great food and hospitality that really made a difference.
Thank you Premier Inn for getting it right with this location, whatever you are paying them needs to be doubled as they have represented you above and beyond.
We go to the Brighton North Street Hotel for breakfast nearly every day. Always lovely hot food. Lots to choose from. The staff are soooo lovely. The short middle aged woman (not sure on her name) is a delightful person! Always has a smile. The other staff are great too! Always polite, on hand and they just make it have a great atmosphere. My favourite place. In my opinion that woman should get a bonus. Well all of them should really.
We had very great help from Louise in the lobby. She was assisting with everything we needed to know. I highly reccomend this hotel too. It os so short way frim shops and Christmas spirit
This hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of Brighton. The rooms are basic but clean and suitable for a short break. Tea/coffee & kettle is provided in room and there is heating. The staff are very helpful and willing to solve any issues. Special mention to Louise who checked us in and helped with a small issue we had.
Louise who checked me in was really welcoming and made it a great experience when travelling such a long way and walking through aweful weather.
2nd time staying at premier inn Brighton and it was worse than our first visit which was not great. The location is the only decent thing about this hotel. The room was once again smelt damp. Even more disappointing was breakfast. Last time we stayed the hot food was a buffet this time you had place an order. We was told take a seat and we will come and take your order. After ten minutes we had to find the waiter to take our order. We then had to wait another 15 minutes for breakfast so the toast we had gone to get was now stone cold. The breakfast was not very nice at all with burnt sausage and bacon dished up with undercooked soggy hash browns. Will not be staying here again as also the guy serving breakfast was so unwelcoming.
We have stayed at several premier inns and have always been pleased with our accommodation but from the moment we arrived at the Brighton premier inn we felt very disappointed. The whole building needs a complete refurbishment. Our room was very dated, the carpet was very dirty and the bathroom area didn’t feel clean. It was also very difficult to control the heating and felt very cold at times.
We didn’t feel very safe entering the building due to rough sleepers near the entrance. We think that there should be more security, especially as on one occasion we found it difficult to enter the building due to paramedics having to attend to a drug taker. We would certainly not stay again and not recommend this hotel.
Ideal location for the city, but it’s all getting a bit tired. Room was basically clean, but behind the TV it was thick with dust. I was only looking there as there was no TV signal. The hairdryer was temperamental, which made the wife the same. Not good. Breakfast was hot and cooked well.
Not being people who use hotels often we were not used to key card use, you need it to get the lights on in your room, and to use the lifts, we weren't told at the checkin, it felt a bit rushed . The parking is about 3 mins walk away and cost around £18 pound from the time i checked in to check out.
Good location central - 10 mins walk from the sea. However, more like a hostel - very tired building. Seems to lack the use of a hover on the corridors .
Good hotel, right in the heart of Brighton. Breakfast, rooms and staff excellent. No faults. Lots of bars, restaurants and the 'Lanes' are nearby
We had a wonderful time at the premier inn from the 14th - 16th November. The rooms were clean, the service was fantastic, and everyone made us feel at home! A special thanks to Gino and Katrina for their attentive support during our stay.
Wish i could give a 0 rating, room consumed with mould as soon as you open the door and step inside it stinks of damp, carpet damp to the touch, condensation dripping from the ceiling mould on all the walls and in the bathroom. Arrived really late no one to be seen at reception, avoid this hotel at all costs normally premier inn is great for the night but this hotel put shame on the company even communal areas run down and dirty.
After reading the reviews about this hotel we thought it couldn't be this bad, it's premier inn, but it was the worst one we've stayed at by a long way.
We are arrived at 2.55 to be told we couldn't check in and to wait over there with everyone else. We then had the farcical nonsense of him checking all our names off, for what seemed to be no reason at all. At bang on 3 he then called us forward a couple at a time to check in on the screens. What difference did that 5 minutes make exactly?
We went up to the room and on entering the damp smell hit us straightaway, it was horrible. Big damp area under the window. We thought we'd open the window to air it, no. Everywhere else you can at least open it and inch or so but these were all completely shut. One of the pillows didn't have a pillowcase. The bathroom was at least clean and the shower good, but the windows were then swimming in condensation so you could see why they have a damp issue, you need ventilation for goodness sake!
My husband didn't sleep well at all, and I was awoken by the delightful sound of the glass collection lorry at 06.15 on Sunday morning. The curtains didn't close properly so that'll be fun in the summer if you want a lay in. Terrible preparation for the running event we were here for.
As frequent Premier Inn customers really disappointed that they have lowered their standards so much, especially for the price, and I'd never stay at this one again.
