Visiting friends in the area and this was the closest hotel. may I say it was so clean from entering reception into the bar area to our room and in it, just so clean and fresh. The staff were also very friendly we actually believe this was the best premier inn we have stayed in when you consider all of the stay
Best hotel around!!! The staff was amazing and the manager was kind and helpful! There is nothing bad about this hotel.. everything was special
Great stay. Clean+quiet room. Comfy bed. Lovely staff. Not happy you now have to pay for parking when you're staying in the hotel
They need more staff at main desk and restaurant the manager was doing main desk and bar . Had a meal me and my daughter had the fish the fish was very large lovely but my daughter could not eat all hers as very large no problems about that , the serving lady who know her job no problems with that the problem I had she told my 18 year old daughter who is austic , she said to my daughter what's wrong with your fish why haven't you eaten it what a waste. My daughter finds it hard with food as it is she ate done so well but she got so upset my other daughter who was 27 who lifted her burger because it was dry and not nice not a word don't tell anyone off .
Check in was easy and without any issues. Room was clean and nicely presented but bathroom smelt really strongly of stale urine, we had to keep the bathroom door closed and were reluctant to use it as it didnt feel/smell very clean. Hotel was fairly quiet, we had a relatively good nights sleep. The next day there seemed to be an issue with the keycard system, we were locked out of our rooms for a while until we could eventually get someone on reception to unlock it, the room next to ours also had the same issue, we ended up going for breakfast as there wasnt anyone on the front desk. We booked in for breakfast the next morning, once seated we waited for over 20 minutes for someone to take our order, eventually we had to ask if we could order. It arrived fairly quickly and was not too bad. The restaurant toilets smelt really strongly of stale urine which you could smell just walking past them. Big problem with parking though, on arrival we paid the £3 charge using the online system at the front desk, nearly 3 weeks later we have now received a £100 fine saying that we didnt pay, i have now got to go through the appeal process to dispute this which is not that easy as the email address the letter provides is not valid, i fear i am going to have a battle on my hands to resolve this.
First class experience at Premier Inn Rickmansworth. Our accessibility needs were met as soon as we walked through the door. Clarisa (Sunday evening) and Elaine (Monday morning) could not have been more helpful, kind, professional, caring. Nothing was too much trouble.
Next time we are in Rickmansworth we will definitely stay here again.
Huge selection for breakfast and lovely food for dinner. Really impressed.
Stayed here in October, great night out and had a few drinks at the bar served by a really nice young man. Great service and great staff
We stayed for one night, felt very welcome from the moment we walked through the door, we enjoyed the evening in the bar a great stay would highly recommend ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lovley hotel, and great staff members. Will definitely come again. Car parking and great price. Lovley area to visit and great view of the canal.
Nice premierinn, really nice guy on reception helpful and great people's skills, rooms ok and clean, restaurant and bar nice, breakfast good the only issue was the Steaks on the evening not great, fatty and tough and service a bit slow.
Overall fairly good.
Parking was easy - reception very friendly. Room comfy, but only 3 pillows between 2 of us. Pub was closed at 10.30pm on a Saturday night. No cooked breakfast on Sunday as chef was off sick.
Stayed here for two nights on 7/8 of November 2025. Hotel was terrible. Stayed in a few premier inns and they were fine. This was terrible. Mould on the bathroom walls. Not clean all round. Years worth of dust all over the room. I have pictures I will add.
I did complain and the first thing they said was why didn’t you tell us when you check in?! It was 11 pm and we just went to bed. Asked it to be deep cleaned for the next night we were there. But nothing had changed when we got back later that evening. Still dirty and not even hoovered! Couldn’t open windows and the extractor fan didn’t work so steam and condensation all over the room. Do not stay here if you just want a clean room. Staff were too busy to really care about my complaint.Didnt really seem concerned at all! I did show him the picture too! Was checking people going in to breakfast at the same time as taking my complaint. Thank god I wasn’t eating here going on the state of my room!
The only good thing was the location to London. A £5 uber to the underground was good.
Lovely staff great breakfast superb value and a lovely area to explore with some fabulous old pubs sunny day and great shops dotted around
Wow the new rooms look great and the staff like all the time was friendly and welcoming to everyone I want to thx to all of them to be so kind to me, Emilia, Juliana, Hasan, Sara, to me Czech lady , Bianca and to all is amazing to see all of you.
The Rooms were lovely and clean and really comfortable. Wifi is no good at all. Avoid the Beefeater restaurant - not enough staff, service so slow and they don't get your order correct at breakfast. They don't advise of unavailable items until after you try and order said items. Many items from the menu unavailable for both nights and mornings of our stay, They advised no eggs available due to no stove/hob - why not purchase a temporary one? Me and my work colleague ended up with an upset stomach after our 2nd evening meal!! When ordering the drinks in the meal deal, staff dont advise of the upgrade supplement until the end when they bring over a bill! Also, the lift broke on our 2nd day, I have no issues with using the stairs but my work colleague with disability issues, had problems using the stairs while the lift was out of order. needed to be fixed asap.
The hotel is in a great location. Reasonably priced, quite a bargain. The facilities and the rooms are comfortable, well equipped. The staff was very nice. Although they seem to have a nice restaurant and many other guests were eating there, we did not get an opportunity to eat there. A big plus is the location; one can walk to the beautiful Aquadrome and the park with canals and short trails.
Lovely hotel, only 15 minutes from Warner bros studio tour and only a 15 minute walk to the train station. Comfy and clean room. Great breakfast.
It’s a Premier Inn so you know what you’re getting: a basic but clean room and a place to park up for the night. This one is well placed for the M62 and good for getting into both Oldham and Rochdale. There’s an associated bar / restaurant next door where you also get breakfast. And a friendly independent pub across the road too. Nothing wrong with this place (especially for its budget price) but on this occasion our room smelt of mould, perhaps coming from the a/c. I’m sure it’s a one-off situation though.
We booked this Premier inn because we were going to a wedding at the Bella Vista in Rochdale.
I would definitely stay here again, it’s was a good stay from the greeting in reception. The bathroom was clean and the shower had a good water flow. We had to turn the extractor on as it was off but i suspect it was the previous guest who may have turned it off.
The breakfast was tasty and you could eat as much as you wanted.. if that’s your thing.. but lots of variety.
I would have given it full marks but I we had to pay for parking 🅿️ all be it £3 a day but still if you are staying it should be included.
Easy to find location. Staff friendly and helpful.
Room was 9/10 for cleanliness.
Bathroom 9/10 for cleanliness but had rusty towel rail, and quickly steamed up because extractor didn't seem to be effective.
Too noisy to sleep with window open, as room was nearest motorway. Odd numbers face motorway, so would be noisiest.
