A lovely modern Premier Inn. Clean, well organised with lovely staff. Great for a visit to Newcastle if you want to stay close but not pay the prices of hotels in the centre on a football day. A quiet location despite being close the the A1. The rooms were very clean and even had USB sockets in room which you still don't get in some of the older Premier Inns- helpful if you have forgotten your adapter...
A fabulous experience. We were cared for by a super friendly efficient team.
Our room was clean comfortable and quiet.
The food at breakfast and dinner was particularly tasty and great value for money.
An easy walk into the town.
Stay here often for work for the week. All rooms have been renovated and are lovely very modern with everything you could need. The breakfast room is new and big with all you can eat cooked and buffet.
The staff here are very helpful in particular Tanya. Every time I come she goes over and above, she is thorough and nothing is a problem for her. I would like to give a special thanks to her for Making my stay nice, when I’m working away from home.
The Toby carvery in the car park is brilliant always busy and very warm and comforting.
There is always car parking spaces and you do not have to pay for the car park which is a massive difference to all the other Premier inns, that can be up to £20 a night on top of your room stay.
Very nice hotel. Good location. BUT NO digital radio on the TV. A real pain in the butt. This is the only Premier Inn that i can recall with no digital radio.
Very friendly staff and the comfiest bed Ive ever slept in. Check in and out easy, parking fantastic. Breakfast good but pastries not always topped up. I would definitely stay again x
Positives:- Good price, good location, friendly helpful staff, great breakfast, clean and tidy, comfortable beds, if there was something additional you wanted you only had to ask.
Negatives;- Not much hanging space if staying a few days and the rooms can get very hot with no means of cooling them. Windows do not open and the minimum temp setting is 19 degrees
We have stayed here numerous times and will continue to do so. We use this as a base when we are going to Gullivers World (ten min drive away) and cannot fault the hotel at all. Check in always seamless, rooms spotless. We had a lovely evening meal served by Ellie and at breakfast our host was Pam. Both ladies went above and beyond and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely both a real asset to the Premier Inn brand and the reason we will continue to stay here in the future. Breakfast was buffet style (so much better than our previous visit where it was cooked to order) I hope they continue with the buffet.
Just a little side note, if you want/feel the need to leave a tip, please bring cash so the staff definitely get it.
We stayed here as a couple for two nights. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and well soundproofed, but with limited space to hang clothes. The food available in the restaurant was simple but very tasty. There was a good choice of food at the breakfast buffet. Overall we consider it to have been good value for money.
Ideally located just off A1. Great parking, convenience of onsite and local hospitality. Attentive staff. Comfortable room with more than adequate amenities.
It's not often I stay in hotels in the UK, but this place is by far 1 of the nicest I've ever stayed. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are great with most amenities you could need, like wifi, an ironing board, hairdryer, fridge and lots of plugs and sockets where you actually need them, plus the beds were so comfortable that I didn't want to get out! They were so accommodating, nothing was a problem and they even had gluten free bread for the breakfast which had such a good selectionas and being coeliac I really appreciated that. But a special mention must go to Janice on reception because she was so professional, kind, courteous and helpful! 10 out of 10 easily!!! Can't wait to return!!
As the title suggests :)
Had a lovely stay at this Premier Inn. The staff are a credit and the room was lovely and clean and a good size for my family (4) BUT
Half of the menu was unavailable, in this day and age that's not really acceptable, especially at the price for dinner that Premier Inn are charging.
Ran out of steak, no prawns, no soup, some desserts too
It did highlight the issue when we ate at a restaurant in Wadebridge and it was considerably cheaper & everything available
the room was a little small but really nice and the staff here were the absolute kindest. the view and the bathroom were both really good too
Amazing value and perfect location on route to Liverpool. Family room with all the amenities needed.
Breakfast is the best! Pam was wonderful, very attentive and helped our 2 very fussy children choose their breakfasts and my daughter the pancakes. She is a diamond. Can't beat Premier Inn for value and family friendly.
I stay at Premier Inns very frequently and like this hotel chain. After the stay in the Premier Inn Team Valley, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of our Premier Plus room. Again very spacious with fridge and coffee machine as advertised. The room and bathroom were both clean and the bed very comfortable. The only drawback was that they didn’t have an in-house restaurant and we would have had to go to Tobey Carvery next door. Not a big fan of Tobey Carvery so we didn’t eat there. There aren’t many places to eat in Washington and many were closed on a Monday. Breakfast was served in a small area of the hotel but the buffet was well stocked and the food fresh. I can’t find fault with this Premier Inn other than missing an in-house restaurant. I was very pleased with our stay and would return again.
Had a break on a long drive at the end of a holiday here and it was lovely. Beds were comfy, service was great, no complaints at all!
Breakfast was great (as all premier inn breakfasts are) - unlimited everything and really good veggie options. Pam, running the breakfast, was a star and was so good to our kids- really made them feel welcome.
Very good value - 65 quid for four of us and breakfast.
Lovely comfortable stay. The room was spotlessly clean. Bed was super comfortable. No noise from corridor or outside the hotel.
Perfect location for travelling to other parts of the UK just off the A1M.
Would definitely return again.
Thanks Premier Inn 😊
This was the best Premier Inn we have stayed in, lovely room & bathroom with a walk-in shower & very clean. Breakfast was good & the staff were helpful & friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
There was no-one on reception when I arrived, and quite a wait for them to appear, but accepted they were doing something else and was not a big deal. Apparently it is not possible to buy hot chocolate in the hotel/ restaurant.
The room was a standard Premier Inn room so was fine, although only had a shower, no bath. The remote control didn't work, and the toilet had not been cleaned - there was old sticky urine around the rim, which was unpleasant.
Mentioned the remote and the bathroom to the person on the desk when I left but they weren't interested.
The mattress was incredibly comfortable extra pillows were available.
The staff were all amazingly helpful and friendly staff. A special thank you to David!
Very handy location. Cleanliness was very good in all areas been in white a few premier inns. It's one of the best it's nice to be able to eat in the hotel
