Stayed here for just an overnight stay after our work christmas party. Check-in was easy, the room and bathroom were clean and up to good standards. Would gladly stay here again. Only thing to improve was that there wasn't any trash bins in the room or bathroom.
I loved it so much, i recommend it to anyone who wants a good night sleep and to wake up to a warm breakfast. Very friendly staff, clear experience!
One of the best hotels I have ever been to! Staff were lovely and food was delicious! The room was all prepared and clean for us. Would recommend and I am thinking to go again!
Is an amazing hotel and staff, we been 5 days and feel like home. Very good location, 10 minutes walk from the station and many shop around,
Dreadful.
1st room we were allocated had overwhelming smell of damp and mould. Could feel myself breathing in the damp. Receptionist kindly changed our room to the only other room available which was an accessible room. As I opened the door I was greeted by an equally strong smell, this time the smell was what I can only describe as stale cigarette smoke and a mild urine smell. There was nothing we could do as was told this was the only other room so I sprayed deodorant around the room. I couldn’t sleep properly as the smell seemed to be embedded in the sheets and pillows. Had it not been so late in the night when we arrived I would have left and found alternative accommodation. Broken, dangerous shower room door, flickering bedside lamp, only one towel. I would advise against staying at the hotel.
Location was prime, receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, room was clean and price was value to money. On arrival the cjeckin process was very smooth
Cannot recommend this hotel stay enough! Visited for 4 days (3 nights) for my partner’s birthday and I had noted this on our booking to the staff. We were absolutely delighted to find that Sam and her colleagues had prepared a little birthday bundle on behalf of Hub for my partner. Alongside the excellent location, lovely staff, value for money, and great facilities, we were very impressed with this personable touch which can truly be rare in London. Thank you to Sam and the team for making our stay perfect :) will definitely visit again.
Had the best experience here, we had forgotten to book one of the rooms and hotel was very busy. However Sam was a complete star, she helped us book the room without any stress.
We had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay central London.
Very friendly experienced staff who were helpful.
Excellent breakfast for the price, both healthy and nutritious
Very comfortable bed and cleanliness in both room and lounge/ restaurant
Would come again and recommend this hotel to all as it’s convenient to tube station and museums are within walking distance
The bathroom is not suitable and looks like am staying at a care facility
Friendly helpful staff. Ideal location. Clever rooms, which were clean and functional. Only downside was no where to hang wet towels.
Excellent location, 1 min from Goodge St tube, round the side of Heals. We paid for a larger room, which was not exactly large, so I don't know how small the standard room is, but anyway most of it was taken up by the enormous and VERY comfortable bed so we had 3 very good nights. No cooked breakfast available but the continental breakfast was perfect. Staff pleasant & helpful. Also we were very glad to have a window (east facing, morning sun pouring in) which makes a huge difference. I would have enjoyed it much less in a windowless room. Would be nice if you could request that at time of booking perhaps?
A very conveniently located hotel for Tottenham Court Road/Oxford St with good transport links nearby. I had a larger than average Standard room with windows. It was clean and very comfortable, despite being onto TCR. Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Peter on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast amazing value ! £6 for unlimited continental breakfast (fruits, yoghurt, pastries, orange juice, tea, coffee) . Room rates not out of the way for central London. Will definitely stay again !
Location really good, staff very friendly and attentive. Nice room with everything I needed. Thought the floor could have been a bit cleaner but then I am very fussy. Would defo stay again.
We booked Goodge Street venue as we had previously stayed in the area. The ease of access from Paddington using the underground with no changes was quite straightforward (Euston Square or Tottenham Court Road).
The visit was for a birthday celebration in London.
The hotel itself is in a very good area with many cafés, small pubs and even a supermarket within three or four minutes walk. Theatres and many LGBTQ venues are approximately 12 to 15 minutes walk away.
Arrival and check-in was very straightforward and efficient. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
The elevators are small, but very quick and there seem to be a little to no waiting to use them.
From this point, things became relatively underwhelming to disappointing.
The first room I was assigned had to no Windows. Personally, this unsettled me and is an option I would never select. I found the room to be claustrophobic and stuffy. It was surprising that this was not announced before beforehand in any of the literature as typically hotels with this kind of limitation sell these rooms at a lower cost - a lack of natural light is a huge down point as far as I am concerned. Personally I am not a fan of confined dark space so this personal quirk heightened my displeasure further.
I went to reception and thankfully there was an alternative room I could be assigned. The staff were very friendly, understanding and accommodating. The second room was smaller, but having light made all the difference so I was heartened by this.
The bathroom small but appear to be well designed. It was stay over substance .
If you are sharing with someone you do not know well, please be aware that the entire bathroom is a glass box. There is a modesty screening to this that reaches up to approx the 180/185cm level. If any party using your room is taller than this, they would be able to see over quite easily.
The hand basin was a beautiful semi circular design however when water from the faucet - turned on at a average or higher speed - sprayed water up across the mirror, across the only worksurface and onto the only space where towels could be kept.
The door to the shower cubicle was very narrow and accessing the shower was a problem. I am a XXL so I fear anybody with a larger or heavy body would struggle to even enter the cubicle. There was a monsoon shower head and a standard showerhead, but the water pressure was below average.
All in all this hotel has a number of quirks which would dissuade me from staying there again. Whilst well designed to utilise space there were a number of disadvantages to the design in both usability and that would impact anybody with a larger body
Really enjoyed my stay in Eltham
Friendly staff I want to go there again and recommend my friends to go there as well
Staff always available food was too good as well
"My experience of staying at the hotel was very good. The staff, location, food - everything was excellent. The lady at the reception welcomed me warmly, which matters a lot when you're tired. The entire staff was very friendly, and I would love to come back again.
Passade våran resa utmärkt. Bra frukost
I stayed in a larger room for 2 nights. Check-in was simple, just scanned a QR code and activated the room key - no interaction with staff needed. Room was well insulated from external noise. Bed was comfy and gluten-free muesli and soya milk was available at breakfast. Free wifi was decent. Location great for my needs - close to offices and plenty of places to shop/eat nearby.
Slight negatives, air-con was very noisy (same for other 4 members of my group), USB charging port didn't work, toilet paper cheap/thin, room had no window or natural light.
Overall a good option for a short mid-week business stay, but don't expect luxury.
