Categories

Cleanliness
9.2
Multiple guests explicitly note the hotel is very clean and 'très propre'/'clean, modern'; one severe case mentioned a toilet leak (maintenance issue) but overall housekeeping is consistently praised.
Service
9.4
Service repeatedly called out as a strength: front desk, breakfast staff and evening bar staff described as extremely kind, thoughtful and helpful; several guests said staff went above and beyond despite a few operational hiccups (e.g., bar opening delay).
Location
9
Many reviews highlight excellent, central location (5 min walk to town, views of the cathedral) and easy access to downtown; a minority mention being near the road or not ideally placed for a specific mistaken booking.
Room Quality
7.2
Rooms are described as spacious and well decorated, but several guests reported significant issues: non-working AC, curtains/rails not closing, shower/door faults, toilet leak and at least one comment on uncomfortable bedding and missing storage/minibar.
Amenities
8.2
On-site parking (secure basement/parkhaus) is a clear asset and breakfast is praised; shortcomings include limited EV chargers (only ~5), occasional closures of bar/restaurant evenings and lack of minibar/wardrobes in some rooms.
Value for Money
8
Several guests say the hotel is worth staying at and recommend it, but issues such as a billing/payment double-charge report, parking fee (€15) and isolated maintenance problems reduce perceived value for some guests.
Food and Beverage
8.3
Breakfast receives positive mentions (lovely, pleasant setup overlooking cathedral); however, bar/restaurant closures on certain evenings and inconsistent opening times were noted as negatives.
Overall Experience
9.5
Majority of reviews are highly positive—new, clean hotel with friendly staff, great location and good parking leading to strong overall impressions; issues reported are significant but affect a minority of stays.

Pros:

I wish I could give higher stars. The front desk, breakfast staff, cleaning staff and evening bar staff were extremely kind and thoughtful. Everyone that works there went up and beyond to help. Our car broke down and we stayed one more evening and it was a blessing . This place is worth staying and the hospitality is beyond what ever you would expect.

Pros:
