Nice hotel!
Pros:

Good location
Friendly staff
Good bathroom and separate toilet

Cons:

Mattress was too hard
Room is a bit small especially because of the table and chairs
No closet

Great location, very small room.
Pros:

Great location, 10 min walk to Gion, Kiyomizu station easy walk. Staff are great.

Cons:

Room is extremely small for 2 people, the size is available to see when booking. No room for 2 suitcases. booking. Beds are quite hard. Large step up into bathroom, hard for elderly.
