The Angus has been our go to for 6 years. The upgrade is great,
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. Our family joined us with 3 children under 5y. Staff were very accommodating.

False advertising, very old and broken, small and not hotel standard I will never book here again

It was close to everything also the restaurant was great for late dinners

Cons:

The accomodation did not look like the photos I stayed for entire week bathroom toilet seat was broken bathroom was small i didnt have all the cutlery powerpoints were not working i felt ripped off

Okay short stay
Pros:

Location to the event we were attending.
Breakfast was lovely.

Could do with updating the furniture and a fresh look to the place, and not just a name change.

Good stay very convenient area but the menu and food certainly needs an upgrade. Staff very pleasant.
Pros:

Restaraunt and bar onsite. Shopping centre across the road.

Cons:

Poor lighting in bedroom. Only one bed light worked

Pros:

The newly renovated rooms.
The restaurant specials on different nights and the buffet breakfast is good value for the price. Though some of the hot foods dont stay hot. But that happens everywhere

No bottle water available to use to full the jug. Have to use water from the bathroom.

Pros:

Breakfast was very good, a great variety. Bed was so comfortable and room was lovely and warm when we arrived. The staff was very helpful,and was welcome by the resident parrot

Coffee at breakfast was cold but was sorted by staff.
