Super Lage, sehr freundliches Personal
My trip this time was to see Jonas Kaufmann singing Calaf in Turandot. Hotel an der Oper's location is the best. Besides, some of the details the owners put into the room sets them apart from their competitors, such as the beautiful white orchid in the room, the small chandeliers by the bedside. The decor was simple, elegant and stylish. I stayed there in 2015 when I came to see Jonas Kaufmann and Anja Harteros singing La Forza del Destino. I remembered Karin Durr, she worked behind the counter graciously. This time, it was Karin and her son. Family-owned business is definitely different from any chain hotels. They put their heart and soul into the business and the guests can tell the difference. I wish there were more hotels operate like theirs wherever I travel. Some of the other guests I met at the hotel told me the same thing how they like the hotel.
None
The location was perfect for exploring the area. everything was easily accessible by foot.
Under the Hotel description it showed parking so we assumed that there was parking at the Hotel - which was not the case.
The parking was at a nearby parking garage, which was a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel, the fee for overnight parking was an additional 40 Euro's which was on top of the room charge.
