Wouldn't stay there again. Wouldn't recommend.
Pros:

Good choice for breakfast, including hot options. Location was okay near Paddington Station. Very touristy, so not really to my taste. Room was quiet.

Cons:

Wifi was very unreliable making it impossible to check emails or do forward trip planning. The room was adequate, but very small. I hit my hands on the bathroom ceiling a couple times, and I'm only 5'2".

Chambre minuscule, pas propre et salle de bain ridicule et bruyante
Pros:

L’emplacement est très bien, pas très loin du métro et du centre.

Cons:

La propreté, la taille des chambres , la salle de bain minuscule et équipée d’une aération très bruyante qui ne s’arrête pas. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans la chambre du haut. Les chambres se situent entre deux étages sous des escaliers, donc on entend tous les autres clients monter et descendre. De même, l’entrée de la chambre se situe derrière une porte qui mène sur un escalier qui mene sur une seconde porte et un second escalier. Ainsi, pour ouvrir la porte il faut reculer de la pas , pas très pratique lorsque derrière il s’agit d’escalier. D’autant plus , qu’avec des valises c’est d’autant plus dangereux. Aucune table et rangement ne permet d’être l’aise dans la chambre. La salle de bain très petite, impossible de mettre ne serait ce que la brosse à dent à côté de l’évier. Or, le prix payé semble excessif compte tenu de tous ces éléments.

dommage qu’il n’y est pas de rideaux occultants + pas insonorisé = compliqué de dormir correctement

The hotel really needs to prioritize safety and health of their customers.
Pros:

The male staff who helped me on the first day was terrible. Very unhelpful and rude. The second day staff who were 2 ladies were much nicer and helpful but I was checking out that day so it would've been been better if I was able to work with them on check-in. They had offered to help me get a new/better room if I wanted to continue staying there so I appreciate the offer.

Cons:

1. The room smelled extremely bad. Very musty and had strong odor of pesticides. Even after leaving all the windows open and using two fans all day and overnight, the smell never improved. I developed severe chest pain and was feeling disoriented by the next morning so I checked out early and booked another hotel as this was unsafe and a health hazard.

2. Very shady hotel. They take your passport and make a copy of it on check in. They wouldn't even let me check in until I dug out my passport from my luggage.

3. The wifi was terrible, and there was no cell service in the room. I had to go to the lobby to get cell signal to look for another hotel.

This hotel might be cheap but was an absolute nightmare to live in. I lost the money on the rest of my booking as it was non-refundable and also an extra day of my vacation as I had to rest and recover from the health issues I developed here. The only positive thing I have to say was the location and proximity to Paddington station. Was just a 7-8 min walk.
