The shower was broken and blocked. The hair dryer was not working. Contacting the staff and getting the instructions to enter the apartment was difficult.

Zonder toegangscode en zonder lift. Alles met moeite zelf geregeld.
Pros:

Centraal gelegen, mooi ruim appartement. Maar er is geen personeel aanwezig. Er was GEEN LIFT. Dus mijn 20 kilo koffer moest ik zelf de stijle trap optillen en 3 dagen later weer naar beneden. Heel vervelend en niet vooraf bekend.

Cons:

Dat er geen receptie was en geen lift. Ik had kennelijk toegangscode moeten krijgen voor de voordeur en van de kamer. En die had ik niet. Ook een ander stel met hetzelfde probleem. Kostte veel tijd en irritatie om het op orde te krijgen. En ontbreken van lift en zelf je 20 kilo koffer een stijle trap op tillen was onverwacht. Ik had niet geboekt als ik dit geweten had. Schandalig. Bellen kan ook niet. Alleen appen

The place was well keep at the surface level, as we settled and started to get familiar with the unit, we found that the ,control in one of the bath, for the water stopper was broken, the ceiling in that same bath had some detective and unsighted curling, the skylight in that same bath ,needed cleaning , there was some hard water build up behind forceuts in that same bathroom, kettle need to be cleaned or replaced and parking space was abit challenging to navigate (if you're driving).

Cons:

Parking and heating of the living / dinning room was limited to 22 degrees and couldn't be adjusted higher.

Perfect place for our night in Montreal.
Pros:

This place is great! Easy to book. Great value. Wonderful location. Plenty of room in the unit. Good for our family. So nice to have a kitchen and laundry facilities, even though we didn't use either. We'd definitely stay here again.

Cons:

I'm glad I drive a small car, as the parking soace was very tiny. Would have been nice to know that it would be small, in case we had a larger vehicle.

Montreal-fabulous. The SFX Montreal - not great. I'm owed a credit.
Pros:

The best I can say is that this hotel is conveniently located. Touring Old Montreal, the Old Port and Downtown was delightful. The people were very pleasant, courteous and friendly. The Place des Art (and Raffi), Aura at the Notre-Dame Basilica and the Montreal Museum of Science were great experiences. Children love the Museum of Science. As for restaurants, Bellucci Italia (downtown), Venice (just next door to the hotel) as well as Creperie des Suzette, 3 Brasseurs and Tommy Cafe (on Rue Saint-Paul O & E) had great food and excellent friendly service. Rue Saint-Paul is nice for walking and shopping especially for souvenirs.

Cons:

Had it not been for a bad experience with the management, I would have rated this hotel as ok to good (not excellent) for the price. However, upon entering our unit (2 bedroom), we were hit with a strong odor of cannabis indicating that someone was smoking there for days. We immediately requested a new unit but was denied for the evening and promised one for the next day. There were units available on Booking.com for the next day. In the morning the cleaning staff told us to check out and move our belongings. Fortunately family rented the unit next door. Later the management communicated that they could not give us another unit because they were booked. The cleaners used very strong chemicals which mixed with the bad odor. The soft furnishings still smelled terrible but management denied this. One member of our party could not use their room (no windows) due to the odor and slept for four nights on an uncomfortable sofa with little privacy. After being lied to, inconvenienced and made uncomfortable, I requested a partial credit but was denied. Management's treatment of us was patronizing and sub par for excellence in hospitality. Would not go there again. Our communications were through the texting feature on Booking.com - see photos.

Highly recommended for a large group that want to spend time exploring old Montreal
Pros:

Amazing location, heart of old town, 1 block away from Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal. 2 Bedroom unit is spacious, high ceiling. Free parking is a great bonus. The entire package is well worth the price

Cons:

Ceiling of the bathroom need some maintenance, but it does not impact our stay.
