A wonderful, new hotel in great location, with super helpful staff!

I can confirm other travellers' opinions on the great location of the hotel, its exceptional cleanliness and super nice and helpful staff. What I may add is that design of my room was super smart. On one hand it looked exactly like one of the double rooms on the photos published on booking.com but being inside and using it I realised how user-friendly it was. I mean it has many different lamps to choose from, a lot of shelves to store your stuff and and a lot of various sockets to use and charge your equipment. For somebody like me, who came with two cell phones, a camera and a mini electric kettle to make myself a cup of mint before bed, this room was a little paradise. There were enough shelves, desks, and hangers to keep everything I had, including some Lisbon's shopping in the convenient place. Also in the small bathroom there was a very comfortable, large countertop around the sink with an equally extensive shelf underneath, so even 2 persons may easily accomodate all their cosmetics and more there. Despite the neighborhood full of pubs and restaurants and the demolition of walls in the adjacent building, my room was always quiet (even when I dropped by in the middle of the day). The air conditioning worked well and was intuitive to control. The breakfast was very tasty: all the food was very fresh, and the selection, although not very wide, was well composed with some unusual surprises, such as ground linseed (to add to yogurt) and and grilled vegetables different every day.

Cons:

The only drawback was that the refrigerator in my room wouldn't work, no matter how I set the knob. During my stay, in mid-June, the evenings and mornings were still a bit chilly, and besides, there was always a cold drink available at the hotel bar, so there was no point in bothering the staff. But, I hope this was an unusual malfunction that the hotel will fix soon, because during the summer heatwave, such a glitch can spoil the overall impression of an otherwise wonderful hotel.
There were no raw vegetables for breakfast, which for me wasn't a problem at all, because there were always some grilled ones and a very nice selection of fresh fruits, but to some people it could be a significant weakness so I only mention this so that others know what to expect.

Pros:

Excellent location and staff. Ricardo was so lovely along with other staff. Rooms were small but had everything you need for a city centre stay. Right by the river with lots of restraunts right outside the front door.

Ideaal voor een citytrip
Pros:

Ligging was perfect. In de buurt van het metrostation, de winkelstraten, eetgelegenheden, bezienswaardigheden.
Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt en kamers waren gevuld naar onze noden. Geweldige vakantie gehad!

Cons:

Wij zaten langs achter, zodra we ons raam open zette, kwam er een geur binnen van de keuken beneden. De airco tikt snachts.

Het was oké maar had meer verwacht
