Schöne Aufenthalt mit tollem Ambiente
Pros:

Schönes Hotel mit schönen Ambiente. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Service Personal sehr freundlich. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Gute Restaurants fussläufig zu erreichen. Funchal ist auch zu Fuß in ca. 20-30 Minuten zu erreichen. Tiefgarage war im Preis.

Cons:

Ein bisschen laut, vom nahen Straßenverkehr, wenn man am Pool oder auf der Terrasse war. Bei geschlossenen Fenster keine Geräusche.

Strongly advise other travelers to think twice before booking here
Cons:

We had a confirmed reservation at this hotel and, before our arrival, we had exchanged messages with the staff, who were responsive and answered our questions up until the day before check-in.
However, when we arrived in the middle of the night, we found the hotel completely closed. There was no staff, no way to check in, and no information provided about how to access the property or get assistance. We tried contacting the hotel repeatedly but received no response.
At around 2:00 AM, after a long journey, we were left stranded and forced to look for alternative accommodation. Most nearby hotels were already fully booked, making the situation extremely stressful and frustrating. What should have been a simple check-in turned into a nightmare.
It is unacceptable for a hotel to confirm a reservation, maintain communication until the day before arrival, and then completely disappear when guests actually arrive. A hotel’s primary responsibility is to provide accommodation to guests with valid reservations, and in this case they failed entirely.
I would strongly advise other travelers to think twice before booking here, especially if arriving late in the evening. This experience caused significant inconvenience, unnecessary expenses, and a great deal of stress.

Pros:

Nice quiet location within a comfortable walking distance of city centre and restaurants. Friendly staff and nice breakfast in adjoining hotel. Nice swimming pool.

Hidden jem in good location with excellent service and food.
Pros:

Great location. Rooms very nice. Excellent breakfast. Additional cakes, coffee and Madeira wine offered all day was a nice touch!

We had a great week at the Pestana Quinta In Funchal Madeira - lovely hotel , food, walks and sun.
Pros:

The food was really good at breakfast and dinner. We had lunch on only one day but this was a lovely prawn bistro at the pool .
The staff were excellent, particularly Laura on reception.
The location was perfect for us - within walking distance of the city centre and plenty of great restaurants and shopping nearby.

Cons:

It took us some time to figure out the 3 hotels - our Quinta was lovely but our breakfast / dinner was in the Pestana Mirimar and the bar was in the Garden Resort. They were all connected but the lifts were a pain.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist toll. Ruhig und doch.war die Altstadt fußläufig erreichbar. Das Frühstück war super, die Zimmer sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Jederzeit wie!!
