Ok for one night, but don't think I would stay again.
Pros:

Travelling for business, the Wifi didn't work. Room was directly opposite the kitchen and music playing from the kitchen and restaurant until gone 10am. Bathroom was very dated. Otherwise an ok stay, restaurant and the indian food was delicious.

Cons:

Bathroom was dated and shower very limescale. As a single women travelling for business was slightly on edge as no women around all men working at the indian and running the hotel.

Pros:

The proprietor was friendly and helpful. The mattress was comfortable.

Cons:

This is in fact an Indian restaurant, not a pub. The rooms and hallways were dated and scruffy e.g. shower head was duct taped on, doors didn't close properly. It was quite rowdy at night. Breakfast was not the best.

Potential, lovely building and owner, sadly not clean or pretty
Pros:

Quaint old building

Cons:

Tired, rough around the edges, not very clean, carpet very stained, 100 per cent needs renovation urgently, in the mean time need to charge half what they are.

Very Friendly, the restaurant meal was excellent, (One of the best Indian meals I've had).
Pros:

I had a continental breakfast which was good.
English breakfast was offerred but I was still full from my evening meal in the restaurant

Cons:

Real coffee at breakfast would have been nice, but not a big deal

Pros:

Nice little village, very clean, comfortable bed. Main member of staff was very pleasant.

Cons:

You could hear everything going on in the room upstairs and floors were very creaking. The chap that checked is in hardly spoke any English, and no info was provided on breakfast times etc. Breakfast delivery was a bit hit and miss (we weren't offered cereal for example, but the nest table was).

Wouldn't stay there again
Pros:

The room was spacious, the bed comfy and it was clean

Cons:

There was no parking, we was at a wedding and explained we'd be back between 11 & 12 so we was told the hotel would be closed and we'd need to go around the back. Breakfast was between 7 & 9 we had to state a time we would want it, when we went in for breakfast the owner was sat waiting for us and my husband was going to get the car from the wedding venue, he reminded us breakfast was only until 9. We wasn't asked what we wanted to eat, we was just given a full English, (I wanted cereals & toast), As I can't eat pork. We felt rushed, no communication no greeting like good morning did you sleep well?

Nothing it was a India restaurant no English food beer was very poor and loud Indian music and the tv was via YouTube and could not watch standard programs

Food was great but accommodation dirty.
Pros:

The staff were really polite and attentive. Although I struggled to hear them clearly when they spoke. There was also a member of staff who said he didn’t speak English 🤷‍♀️

Cons:

The room seemed okay until started to unpack. The carpet hadn’t been hoovered from the last guest. The bedside table had sticky stuff on it which was disgusting.
The shower wasn’t attached in the wall well enough to trust and duck tape was holding the head on. I thought I would have a bath instead but it was dirty. The toilet pipes were also badly fitted. The whole room looked dirty and a shamble except the bed had clean sheets.
