A wonderful experience at Merak Hotel Giza! What made this stay truly special was staff member ABDO. He speaks excellent English, is very helpful, and knows all the right spots, hidden gems, and attractions in the area. Thanks to his tips, we had experiences we would never have discovered otherwise.

For the price, you get so much in return truly a unique experience for a bargain. Furthermore, breakfast was well-catered for and included, which provided a great start to every morning.

The decoration is so pretty, really good for pictures, the room were as i expected from the pictures on the app, it was so clean and the view was amazing really good for taking pics too, the staff are the nicest people ever, so kind and understanding, especially the receptionist mr.abdallah mohammad was really kind to us and really helped us in making our trip way easier, the restaurant/roof staff too were really sweet, we had a really great conversation with one of the staff, we are really thankful for this amazing service, and 100% gonna recommend this hotel to anyone i know traveling to cairo, and i will also definitely come again here

I mean the one thing that was good was that it was walking distance from the pyramids but that is literally the only good thing.

Cons:

Not fully ready to accommodate people. Underdeveloped and just not it. I’ve stayed in dingy hotels but this was just not it. Breakfast was a joke apparently was told that there is no buffet on Fridays and that I should’ve known that. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to be honest. Oh and the bathrooms smell bad like they aren’t being cleaned and no hot water
