Worst hotel experience in Rome.

Grand Hotel Plaza looks beautiful only in photos. In reality, the rooms are old, dirty, damaged, and clearly poorly maintained. The service was disappointing and completely unprofessional for a hotel that claims to be “luxury”.

The worst part — money disappeared from three different rooms during our stay. After we reported the incident, most of the staff tried to avoid responsibility, ignored the situation, and even acted as if we were the problem instead of helping guests who had just been robbed.

As we started looking deeper into the situation, we discovered that similar incidents had allegedly happened in this hotel before — guests reporting stolen cash and expensive jewelry from their rooms. After hearing this, it no longer felt like a coincidence.

What made the situation even more suspicious was the fact that our friends had to change rooms 4 times because the safes were not working. For a hotel of this level, this is extremely strange and raises even more questions.

We filed a police report because the situation was extremely serious. Later, the hotel offered us €1500 “as a gesture of goodwill” while clearly stating they do not accept any responsibility. That alone shows how serious and uncomfortable this situation became.

The only person who actually treated us with respect and genuinely tried to help was manager Nadir. Thank you to him for being professional, polite, and trying to resolve the issue while everyone else was simply avoiding us.

Very disappointing experience. Be careful with your valuables if you decide to stay here.

Me encantó Roma pero no el hotel.
Pros:

Solamente la ubicación. También la elegancia de los salones de la primera planta.

Cons:

Muy viejo y muy mal tenido.
Nuestro baño tenía un problema y se inundaba después de cada ducha.
El personal nunca atinó a solucionar los problemas.
Este hotel requiera urgentemente una remodelación en cuanto al edificio y una buena house keeper para el personal.

Konumu çok iyi, kentin bütün önemli noktalarına kısa yürüyüşlerle ulaşabileceğiniz bir noktada.

Cons:

Kat hizmetleri tamamen çökmüş durumda. Dört gün boyunca odanın çöpü alınmadı, tuvalet-banyo temizlenmedi, buzdolabı çalışmıyordu, sifon bozuktu... daha da kötüsü defalarca bilgi vermemize ve talep etmemize rağmen bu sorunların hiç biri giderilmedi.
