Categories

Cleanliness
1
Many guests repeatedly call the hotel 'clean' and 'very clean', though there are serious isolated issues reported (blood on bedding, sticky floors, vermin, smelly shower/drain and poor maintenance in some rooms).
Service
1
Staff repeatedly described as very friendly, accommodating and helpful, with guests grateful for support during difficult stays; reception and security noted as helpful.
Location
1
Convenient central location and on-site parking praised, but several guests noted nightlife/club/takeaway noise and some found the hotel a little out of the way or parking area feeling unsafe.
Room Quality
1
Multiple complaints about room condition: broken sofa bed, uncomfortable/hard beds, faulty doors beeping, holes in walls, poor maintenance, shower problems and persistent smells — outweighing occasional praise for room size/design.
Amenities
1
Basic amenities present (free Wi‑Fi, parking) but several missing or faulty items reported: no bar, no hair dryer, empty soap dispenser, no bedside lamps, lack of TV instructions and other small essentials.
Value for Money
1
Some guests felt it was very good value for the price paid and would rebook, despite some issues — overall modestly positive value perception.
Food and Beverage
1
Little on-site F&B; specifically noted absence of a bar and disturbance from takeaway/nearby venues, which was a negative for some guests.
Overall Experience
1
Mixed overall: many praise staff and cleanliness while others report significant disturbances and maintenance issues; experiences vary widely between very positive stays and stays with major problems.

It was comfy . I rested well. I would stay there again but I’ll ask for higher floors
Pros:

Clean over all. Nice and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Available free parking

Cons:

Being on the first floor was noisy as close to the road , also I prefer a clothe curtain it feels more like home and warm. While the blinds looks modern but doesn’t add warmth

Ok, not great
Pros:

The hotel and room looked recently renovated.

Cons:

Needed better clarity of where parking was.
Reception staff forgetting to request for £50 security deposit, then requesting later, something which was not part of booking.com protocol.

Wi-Fi code had to be chased down.

Room was hot, sofa bed for third guest was very uncomfortable. Requested an additional bed which was rejected.

On a hot day realising the window was open and flies were on the bed.

Wouldn’t dream of staying here again
Pros:

Nothing much. Parking was available

Cons:

Had to put £50 deposit in in case you damaged or smoked in room. They said you should get in back in 24 hours. Lift only went to 2nd floor we were on 3rd. I could say more…

Solo trip
Pros:

My room was extremely clean, the shower was great with lots of hot water.
Complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and toothpaste, there's a large free carpark out the back. Once you turn into the street that the hotel is on, look to the right after the shisha lounge you will see the entrance to the car park.
Staff are really friendly.
