It was fine for one night.
Pros:

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The full english breakfast was good.
The front of the hotel looks out onto the sea.

Cons:

The dining area was small and we had to sit on a sofa to eat our breakfast due to lack of space, it was also in the basement which I found a bit claustrophobic.
The view from the back of the hotel isn't brilliant but we were only there a short time so that didn't matter.
It was overpriced but we were there for a concert for one night only, so they do have a captive audience.

Ein ausgesprochen angenehmer Aufenthalt
Pros:

Wir hatten das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit Erker. Es außerordentlich sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Lage mit Seeblick und Blick auf die Ruine war perfekt für uns. Es war ruhig und man konnte sehr schön spazieren gehen. Mit einem 30 minutigem Spaziergang war man dann im belebten Scarborough. Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war ausgesprochen gut. Der zur Verfügung gestellte Parkplatz war sehr nahe dem Haus und entsprach unseren Vorstellungen. Wenn ich hier was nicht erwähnt habe, dann ist das kein Mangel, ich habe es schlicht vergessen zu erwähnen. Wir waren wirklich rundum zufrieden. Danke nochmal an den Staff für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Good quality accommodation for our stay. We will be returning early August.
Pros:

Very clean and well furnished. Comfortable bed and good shower.
Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Breakfast (extra) - good choice of food.
Close proximity to cricket ground.

Cons:

Nothing we didn’t like, although room was up 3 flights of stairs (no lift), and was quite warm with being an attic room - overlooking the back street also.
