The hotel is nice in terms of design. The beds were comfy.
One really misleading point: The family pool is actually not the hotel pool... it's the residence pool so you don't get the service you would expect from a 5 star hotel pool.... also the look & feel of the pool area is very poor (again because it's a residence pool and not a hotel pool) I feel that this is really misleading as on the images of the hotel you believe that this hotel is a beachfront hotel with massive pool which isn't the case. Families aren't allowed to use the top floor pool of the actual hotel .. so you always have to walk about 300m to go to the pool .. least they could do is provide a buggy especially when it's hot.
Our room while nice on the inside, was dark and with no view at all... it was located in the "middle" of the building looking onto some renovations.
Another problem is that this hotel is really understaffed. 2 people taking care of a full dinner buffet service is just not possible so you end up not getting drinks, things being forgotten. Same at the front desk, while heading out we asked for the housekeeping but when we got back the room hadn't been cleaned.
