SkyView Igloo Resort

Es gibt ein paar Punkte, die aus unserer Sicht verbessert werden könnten:

Nicht alle Igloos haben eine gute Lage. Vier der Igloos sind leider so ausgerichtet, dass weder im Erdgeschoss ein schöner Ausblick vorhanden ist, noch im Obergeschoss ein wirklich freier Blick besteht. Zudem fehlt dort teilweise die Privatsphäre, was für uns ein klarer Minuspunkt gewesen wäre. Wir hatten mit Igloo 11 Glück: Im Erdgeschoss hatten wir einen schönen Blick Richtung Wald und im oberen Stock war lediglich die linke Seite auf ein anderes Igloo ausgerichtet, was für uns in Ordnung war. Grundsätzlich stehen die Igloos jedoch sehr nah beieinander, was – je nach Lage – als störend empfunden werden kann.

Die Außenbeleuchtung des Igloos vor uns war am ersten Abend ein echtes Problem, da das Licht auf dem Balkon die ganze Nacht eingeschaltet war. Dadurch war es weder möglich, den Himmel gut zu beobachten, noch ungestört zu schlafen, da viel Licht ins Igloo fiel. Positiv war, dass die Mitarbeiter das Problem am nächsten Tag gelöst haben. Dennoch wäre es sinnvoll, wenn die Außenbeleuchtung – wie andere Lichter auch – ab etwa 23 Uhr automatisch ausgeschaltet wird, bzw. nicht mehr eingeschaltet werden kann.

Im Badezimmer hätten wir uns eine bessere Möglichkeit zur Abdunkelung gewünscht, beispielsweise durch einen Rollladen oder Vorhang. Je nach Lage des Igloos ist die Privatsphäre beim Duschen sonst eingeschränkt.

Die Treppe haben wir teilweise als instabil empfunden. Sie war recht wackelig und laut, an manchen Stellen gab es bereits Risse und das Geländer wirkte nicht mehr fest verbunden. Hier sollte aus unserer Sicht dringend nachgebessert werden, um mehr Sicherheit zu gewährleisten.

In der Küche hat uns Ausstattung zum Abtrocknen gefehlt. Neben Geschirrtüchern wäre auch eine Abtropfschale für gespültes Geschirr sehr sinnvoll, um es hygienisch und praktisch trocknen zu können.

- The resort opened in November 2025 and our igloo windows had tape on it and some cracks already
- The privacy curtains on the igloo windows were funky to move and could have been all in one fabric to have the best view.
- I wish the resort had more meal options besides just breakfast. You're on your own for lunch and dinner!
- I wish they had a shuttle service to the city center or airport
- I wish they had a welcome app (like another popular resort) where you can schedule when you'd like room service or pass that day, when you need a ride, or if you're interested in activities and when. I think that would help the loop of communication so much!
- Add a large button to go off or a chime in the bedroom when the auroras are above you!
- Hot chocolate station as well as coffee station
- Add a fan in the room, cause it does get hot up there!
- A guest had a drone that would hover over our igloo at times, and we thought it was an invasion of privacy. We would've liked a heads up by the staff first!

Leider war die Treppe beschädigt und sehr laut. Die Balkontüre war leider auch beschädigt und man konnte sie manchmal schwer öffnen war auch sehr laut. Kein Sichtschutz am Balkon. Lichtschalter war auch beschädigt. Frühstück war sehr gut aber leider jeden Tag das gleiche. Kaum platz zum Essen, da Tisch leider sehr klein.

Still working out some kinks since they’ve just opened a couple of months ago. Overheated in the rooms and was unable to get it to a cool consistent temperature. Pipe leaked into the kitchen onto our food, but it was very quickly fixed. Additionally while you cannot control guests, the lighting from the outside of other igloos (or from the igloo themselves) got in the way of lights viewing past the 11pm lights off/quiet hours.

Some minor design flaws as well, such as one person having to roll over their partner to escape the bed to go to the bathroom at night, since there was no way for the person on that side to get out

The location was so close to the city and that makes it hard to see the arura
