Everything
Amazing setting: cute piece of heaven on a corner of an island. Rooms are as gorgeous as on the pictures. The owner is super kind and driven to make things nice for you. Food is absolutely amazing, in a lovely arab-style natural hippy setting, with amazing staff in service and the kitchen. Travelling there must be by boat, which is a nice mindful calming moment to be on the Nile close to nature.
The owner is dependent on staff from the Nubian village: if he doesn't hire them, they won't allow his guests passage to the boat dock to get to his island. These drivers picked us up from the airport, but then dumped us in the village at midnight not willing to bring us to the boat that brought us to the hotel, so we had to force them to point us to the boat - very strange. Later, the same drivers had to bring us to Abu Simbel, and we had to wake them up ourselves (that should have been the owner doing that, not the guests, it was a negative experience) and they refused to wake up. The owner swiftly arranged someone else, who was so tired we almost drove off the road into the desert a couple of times - we had to keep him awake with coffee and cookies. So the dependence on this corrupt Nubian village is making the business definitely worse.
Nala Narty is an oasis of rest in an otherwise bustling Egypt. We enjoyed our rustic room with lovely views on the Nile. Food was excellent and the staff was truly wonderful and helpful on the island and with organizing excursions in Aswan!
A bit more flexibility in breakfast times (a little earlier) would be nice, especially given the early tours. We were given a nice breakfast box though, but would be nice to enjoy the full breakfast every day. Late breakfast seems to be an issue almost everywhere in Egypt though :)
A truly unique experience. The organic local food was absolutely delicious, the staff took great care of us throughout our stay, and they were always available for any need. They also shared excellent restaurant recommendations that made our trip even better. Highly recommended!
Hidden gem off the beaten tracks in Seheil island ! Peace and quiet - with the best views !
Amazing accommodation, very authentic, great hosts. Good food, trips very well organised. I can definetly recommend this!
Nothing
An oasis of peace that went beyond all expectations. The best food we had in Egypt, incredibly kind and always helpful staff, and a magical place that we will definitely return to.
All was perfect!
Rien
Nice getaway from the hustle and bustle. Pretty rooms with lovely views. Good opportunity to swim in the Nile. Excellent lunch.
Unfortunately this place did not compare well with other places we stayed at in Egypt. The rooms were pretty but there was no place to put your stuff: no hooks, no shelves, no hangers not even a place to hang a wet swimsuit. We had to pay for bottled water, Something we didn’t encounter anywhere else during our three-week journey.
This place is amazing. Gorgeous gardens, the best food we had in Egypt- especially the breakfasts. Swimming and relaxing and chatting to the other guests. And the hotel managers ( who were helping out the absent owner) were really helpful friendly informative.
Shower was so forceful it flooded out the bathroom! But that was also a good thing
We absolutely loved the stay and our hosts thoughtful attention to all of our many asks.
Room was comfortable, food was great and location is perfect.
Recommend kayaking in the bird sanctuary across the river - magical experience!
Nothing
It’s in a rural area, reached by the water. The rooms are rustic, cool and comfortable. The design of the property is delightful. The staff are charming, helpful and friendly, and almost all speak English. The food is made, and some grown on site in the organic garden. There is a friendly dog and cat too.
I liked everything.
Special thanks to Mr Bassem our host, this guy is really making this facility special and treat all guests as they are guests in his own home.
The authentic feel of this property is giving you opportunity to reflect, and kids were having much fun to engage with the farm animals and pets, and keep away from devices.
Nothing in particular, privacy could be improved.
