Cons:

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at in the last few years. 1. The location is terrible. It takes 30-minute walk to BITEC—not a walkable distance. The shuttle bus service is infrequent and practically useless. In the evening, I had to wait over an hour just to catch a taxi (Grab) back from BITEC. 2. The shower water pressure is extremely weak. While hot water does come out, the volume is incredibly low! It’s fine for washing hands, but not to wash body or hair; the resulting chill actually caused me to catch a cold. 3. The bathroom is not clean. 4. There are swarms of small flies in the restaurant. 5. I paid over $50 a night for such a low-quality hotel (a total rip-off). They refused to accommodate a change to my checkout date. (This was the only hotel with vacancies during the trade show season when all others were fully booked—a fact that makes perfect sense now—but because of this, they absolutely refuse to issue refunds under any circumstances.)

Hotel part is good. Parking not so good.

Pros:

Avana är ett lite äldre hotell som sett sina bästa dagar. Det är Ok och ligger centralt i Bagna och det relativt låga priset går det prisvärt trots att detär lite äldre som sagt.

Pros:

For a westerner - breakfast had very limited options. Toast and eggs only. Loud noises in hallways. Air condition wasn’t working properly. Bath and shower were old and tired looking. Staff were very friendly. The best bit was the young men at the doors in the lobby who were exceptionally helpful. Overall, good value for money.

Pros:

Avana hotel had the gym in a separate building next door and it was absolutely excellent. Great gym for workout. There was everything you needed. Swimming pool was ok.

The hotel also had an ATM, a small 7-Eleven snack vending machine, a massage place, and a minimarket that was open until 6 p.m.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and lovely. The doorman was polite and always opened the door for us when we left.

Near our hotel was a exelent and cheap restaurant and 7 eleven was 750 metres close. The hotel area was peacefull and quiet.

Bed and pilows were great. 2 pillows is perfect!

We will come back to this hotel when we come next time in Bangkok. 🥰

It would be nice to have different towels to the swimming pool 🥰💫

Pros:

Staff very polite and kind, the most beaustiful thing of the hotel. It is indicated sauna in the services but only massage room and a room with private jacuzzi.

Cons:

Can't use balcony to smoke, but possible to smoke in the pool. Breakfast very poor with few dishes and the only sweets was jam. Coffee was hot water and possible to add instant coffee. Room at every return was 30/32°C in the evening and had difficulties in sleeping. Very noisy air conditioning.
