Samplangan Penida Resort

Just go there, do not think. It's freaking amazing best ever place. I stayed in really good hotels - but this view and beauty overall exceeded any expectation, especially for that price.
Also, they have bike rental and massage options, which is great!! However, would be cool if they inform about this before you come - so you can plan rental and masseges accordingly.

From the moment you book the resort, Ogi is already all over the service of transportation from Bali, ferry pickup and return. I was staying in ubud and the whole experience was seamless with the driver booking your ferry ticket and informing you where to wait. The ferry drop off was at a different harbour than anticipated, however Ogi & her team worked lighting fast in getting a driver locally to meet me.

The communication and logistical operations between the staff is honest, transparent & solutions focused. Always so warm and friendly!

I came here to rest, recharge and just chill and this was the perfect place!

The restaurant food was perfect and reasonably priced, I couldn’t get enough of the Tuna Steak!

Had a great day trip to the west of Nusa Pedina organised with the resort and was so beautiful to see nature flourish so naturally. The driver is a local and took me to the best spots for photographs! He unfortunately had to deal with a flat tyre with a nail caught offside of the bumpiest road to Angel’s Billabong - he turned off at the safest part of the road at a restaurant where I could wait. He was so apologetic, so not his fault, that’s just life and he was super quick to change it. I’m excited to return to see the East Side!

The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean & comfortable bed with a Smart TV. Not that I used it but so great there was an option. Obviously the infinity pool and its view is stunning. The maintenance of the pool is top notch!

The whole resort is a tranquil paradise and at the end of the day it is the people that make it so homely. The is locally owned and run with Ogi’s vision and she has created the perfect paradise with her team to ensure travellers like us receive above and beyond service.

Look no further if you’re after a peaceful paradise stay!

The service, kindness, food at the restaurant and the accommodation was amazing!

Le personnel est vraiment génial et fait tout pour rendre votre séjour meilleur! La vue est vraiment splendide. Le logement est magnifique et très propre mais gros point supplémentaire pour la nourriture qui est excellente nous nous sommes régalés! Tout y était et rien ne manquait, c’était parfait!

Everything was amazing. Beautiful, clean accommodations with a luxurious bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a large TV. The villas are truly gorgeous, and that breathtaking pool.
The accommodations are on a high hill, so the view is fascinating. It was incredibly peaceful there.
The breakfasts were very tasty; they arranged for us to rent a scooter for the entire duration of our stay and drove us to the harbor after we checked out.
All the staff were incredibly nice and kind.
They are wonderful people with smiles on their faces. Thank you all for an unforgettable stay—we’ll definitely be back someday.

Gorgeous bungalow in small family run resort. Very comfortable and spacious room in beautiful settings. Great pool and very good value for money. The friendliest team and they helped us organise transfer to ferry, laundry and day trips to see the sites

De aandacht voor de gast, de super verblijven, het warme welkom en 24/7 bereikbaar zijn om je te helpen op het resort en/of voor het verkennen van het eiland. De eigenaresse heeft alles zelf naar eigen hand ontworpen en daar voor dieprespect gecombineerd met die warme aandacht is het resort echt een aanrader

Prachtige locatie, zeer mooie kamers, bad / douche waar je kunt wegdromen. Heerlijk ontbijt, voldoende keuze en wordt met liefde gemaakt en vriendelijk personeel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious, and we managed to get a floating one at no extra charge. ❤️ Cleanliness of the facility was 11/10, and the view from the pool was 11/10.

Our stay at Samplangan Penida Resort was a dreamy few days where we felt genuine hospitality from Ogi, her family and her staff. We loved the shifting view of clouds over forests, hills, sea and the volcano. We were well cared for during extremely wet weather, as Ogi made sure we were comfortable and all our needs were met. She booked taxis and ferries for us, and fed us delicious banana pancakes! She told us humbly about the incredible journey she and her family have been on building this beautiful place together, so we could also enjoy how special it is to sit at the very top of Penida, next to some very ancient trees on the family plot.

Nejlepší ubytování na Nusa Pedina, pokud hledáte klid, krásný výhled. Ve výhledu můžou být rušivé jen el.dráty, ale celkovou atmosféru to nenarušilo. Manažerka Ogi byla skvělá stejně jako všichni zaměstnanci. Pomohli nám s výlety po ostrově a vším co jsme potřebovali. Poloha resortu je ideální na východní (Diamond beach 55 minut) i západní (Klingking beach 45 minut) část ostrova. Můžete tak vyrazit již kolem 8h a vyhnout se tak davům lidí. Snídaně jsou pestré a chutné. Stejně tak večeře může být rozmanitá a je chutná, jsou poznat lokální a domácí suroviny. Byli jsme tu celkem 4 noci a neměli problém s výběrem jídla.

We spent two nights here and it was absolutely perfect! The room is spacious and very comfortable, and the bathroom is stunning. Everything is very clean. Breakfast is also delicious. The transfer from the port to the hotel was included.

The highlight, however, is Ogyx, the hotel manager, who was always available to help us organize everything in the best way possible. She booked a snorkeling trip to see manta rays for us, as well as a tour of the island’s best viewpoints with the hotel’s driver. She also took care of arranging our boat transfer to the next stop on our trip, including the driver to take us to the port.

All of this at a very reasonable price. Thank you for everything!!! I 100% recommend this hotel, nestled in the hills with a stunning and peaceful view!
