Perfect downtown location in Durango
Pros:

Great location. Right in the center of Durango, with on site parking. Within walking distance of all the downtown eateries for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Easy walk dow to the Durango and Silverton rail depot if you are taking the train. The room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. AC for hot days and a fire for cold ones.

Lovely stay, with a few small kinks in the woodwork.
Pros:

Location is perfect, just a block from Main St. in the heart of Durango. Off street parking is a plus. Room is a very large suite, though kitchen nook was too tight to comfortably sit at the table. Bed was very comfortable, and kitchen was small but convenient, though we never cooked anything but coffee.
Overall, the Leland House was a wonderful place to stay, but for the price we paid (over $500/night), they could have done better on a few small details.

Cons:

Small things kept this from being a 10 rating. The biggest issue was the heating. We weren't "allowed" to use the mini-split system for heat, as we were told it would foul up the system in other rooms. Considering the temperature was in the mid-40s, this seemed quite odd. Then, the gas fireplace in the living room didn't work. The pilot light was on, but the system would never ignite when we turned the thermostat up. We had to use a portable electric heater, moving it from room to room. This was still quite comfortable, but would have been a nuisance if the weather was colder.
Last thing, the wi-fi logged off every time we stepped away from our computer. Typically had to log in to the network 3-4 times a day.

We travel frequently through Durango and always stay downtown…Leland House will be our new go-to.
Pros:

Adorable building, super cute room and awesome location, just steps from great restaurants and all that downtown Durango offers. The convenient parking was also a plus. Delightful stay.

Cons:

No common space lobby…definitely not a deal breaker.

Had a very pleasant visit and enjoyed our time in Durango
Pros:

The location was ideal, essentially located, and in walking distance to everything.
. It felt very clean. The staff was very nice and available when needed. There was free parking.

Cons:

The property was cleaned using Fabulosa, which I find to be very toxic. I think if people had sensitivities, they would have a hard time staying there. There was no elevator so if you were on the second floor, it was not easy getting luggage up although they did offer to help.

I would stay there again.
Pros:

The location was so convenient for access to downtown Durango. The staff was exceptionally responsive.

Pros:

Perfect location to everything downtown and very friendly and helpful staff. The room included everything you could think of for your stay, and special little extras that went above and beyond. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Cons:

The walls are a bit thin so you can definitely hear other guests sometimes, but earplugs are provided which is nice.
