Pros:

The room was beautiful, and I love the location which is near lots of restaurants, shops, places of interest yet very easy to travel anywhere in the city

Cons:

Same as before, I was simply unable to lock the locker in the luggage room (tried many times but the app is temperamental and usually doesn't work. Another guest was trying to lock a locker at the same time and gave up after 10 or 15 minutes as it wouldn't work. The luggage room is a great benefit to have but the virtual un-lockable are a shame. I understand that new locks are imminent which will be great as I hope to return later in the year

Perfect stay
Pros:

We booked for a night away and it was absolutely perfect. The building and the room itself were beautiful, stocked with everything you need and very tidy. I ended up forgetting something in our room after we checked out and the hotel team was incredibly helpful. Brilliant place, would absolutely recommend and would definitely consider staying here again myself!

La douche, le café

Cons:

1-Chambre sans fenêtre, en sous-sol, non précisé dans la description de l'hébergement !
Chambre petite, avec murs et plafonds peints en marron. Moi qui suit claustrophobe je l'ai mal vécu.
2- Aucun accessoire ni penderie pour les vêtements et le linge de toilette.
3- Enorme couette de lit en plein mois de juillet sans aucune autre alternative, et sans possibilité d'ouvrir une fenêtre
4- Accès aux casiers de la bagagerie non opérationnels
5- Le lit en 140, trop étroit

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful rooms, really well kitted out, with extras like a clothes steamer. The coffee was beautiful as well.

Cons:

Coffee machine was in the lobby and shared by all guests, so sometimes the water reservoir was empty and if you were on the top floor like us, had to trek all the way upstairs again to get to a tap to refill it to get a coffee.

Really enjoyed our stay but wished we had not experienced the issue mentioned above
Pros:

How easy it was to access the property, cleanliness & location to tram/bus stops & restaurants & bars. The bed was super comfy.

Cons:

When putting our access code into our room, my wife & myself only opened the door to find a couple lying on the bed. We had to contact the contact number given to try & resolve the issue. We were only staying for one night, so this was an embarrassing inconvenience that we could have done without.

It was comfortable, clean and the shower was good with good products.

Cons:

The tv didn't work and despite constantcontact it wasn't fixed before we left. You couldn't walk anywhere to eat and we were misled into thinking there was a restaurant nearby, which was a cafe only open between 10 - 6

Absolute luxury, just the nicest hotel experience
Pros:

The place was so quiet, absolute zen. And god it was so clean and well stocked. I only stayed one night and had to be up early but I was so refreshed when I woke up. Being able to check in virtually and get a code meant that I could take my time and show up whenever, it was so convenient.

Highly recommended
Pros:

Easy self check in. All communications answered quickly and efficiently. Everything very clean, well appointed and in as new condition. I would definitely stop again. Good value compared to other locations in Edinburgh. The recommended old spence cafe for breakfast was also very good.
