Montenegro: An Underrated Gem 🇲🇪 Beaches, Mountains & So Much More 🌊⛰️🌿
Pros:

🌅 The beach view is amazing, especially at sunset, super peaceful and relaxing.

The location is honestly perfect. You’ve got several beautiful beaches within walking distance, plus lots of restaurants, island tour agencies and supermarket nearby. So convenient!

The pool is well maintained, the place is clean, and the staff is young, super friendly and always ready to help. They really listen to guests and make you feel welcome.

Budva Old Town is only around 15 minutes away by taxi, and it’s about €15 max.

💡Little tip: Need a taxi? Just WhatsApp VIP Taxi — super easy, super useful and reliable! 🚕 It was recommended by IA . Save My Trips 😅

Cons:

The only downside for us was the noise coming from a beach pub/restaurant located almost 1km away. It can get pretty loud between around 11 PM and 1 AM. Definitely nothing to do with the hotel or its staff though, and once you close the windows, the noise is much less noticeable.

One more little tip, totally unrelated to the hotel: bring some cash with you! 💶 Some nearby shops and taxis only accept cash. Also, if you use the ATMs around there, you can get charged around €6 for every withdrawal 😅. So it’s definitely better to bring some cash with you and avoid those extra fees.

And for taxis, be a little careful too. Not all drivers, of course, but some can overcharge you — even with the meter running! We had one ride from the hotel to Budva where the meter showed almost 3 times the normal price 😅. I’d definitely recommend booking your taxi in advance via WhatsApp to avoid any surprises.

Oh, Merdian Hotel... what can I say? Everything was perfect!

The entire team was fantastic. A special thank you to Efe and his colleague for their kindness and professionalism. 😊

Our room, with its breathtaking view of the sea and the pool, made me want to stay there forever. It was simply beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing.

The hotel's direct access to the beach made every outing so convenient and enjoyable. The restaurants located just outside the hotel, open until late, also made it easy to enjoy dinner whenever we wanted. A special thanks to Plaza Restaurant for its delicious meals!

The hotel breakfast was fresh, delicious, and offered a great selection of fresh fruit every morning.

This hotel is impeccable in every way, and the views are absolutely spectacular. It truly feels like being in a dream.

Thank you once again to the entire team for your availability, friendliness, and exceptional hospitality. You made our stay unforgettable.

Great time
Pros:

I had an amazing stay at Meridian Hotel. Spectacular sea view, great staff and wonderful breakfast. The beach and the promenade were just down the stairs. My room was very clean and spacious. I highly recommend it and would stay here again and again.

Notre chambre était grande et spacieuse, mais deux fenêtres n’avaient pas de volets pour les fermer. Le soleil entrait donc pleinement dès 5 h du matin
