Slecht onderhouden hotel op goede locatie
Pros:

Locatie was prima

Cons:

Doucheputje was verstopt, wasbak in de stortbak van de wc, tegels in de badkamer zaten los, schapje waar de waterkoker op stond zat los, veren in bed voelbaar, geen ophanghaakjes.

Pros:

I liked the room and the set up. It had a lovely Seaview and a little balcony overlooking the sea. It was also right in the town centre and so convenient to shops, bars and restaurants.

Very poor value for money. I expected much more. The reception guy was very pleasant.
Pros:

A new bath room however wash hand basin and toilet was integrated. I've never seen this anyway, unhygienic. You had to stretch over the toilet to brush your teeth. The sink until was way too small to be practical. New shower unit which was nice and plenty of hot water. Think they could have given a second bath towel for a 2 night stagy.

Cons:

The breakfast was very poor. There is a breakfast menu displayed but this doesn't seem to be relevant. They seemed to be pushing the fry but I'm vegetarian, eventually got scrambled eggs, half cooked tomato and mushroom which was clearly cooked in animal fat. I asked for butter to go with the toast, was introduced to jam instead. Butter eventual came with eggs by which time the toast was cold and hard. No healthy options on display eg muesli, porridge, fruit or a yogurt. Very basic tea/coffee facilities, very disappointing. A hotel breakfast is usually a treat, this wasn't. No facilities for snacks or a drink, no bar or restaurant open outside of breakfast time.

Pros:

How friendly and helpful the staff were. Muhammed was amazing, he carried our suitcases up and changed our room to the first floor because of my mobility issues.
All the staff were friendly. However it worked both ways.
Our room was small, but comfortable, clean and fresh, we also had a larger balcony with lovely sea views. Although the rooms were smaller, nothing could be done about that, they had everything we needed. Tea, coffee, water etc was provided, extras replaced if we ran short.

Cons:

Unhelpful reviews before going, I nearly cancelled our booking and I was extremely nervous which didn't lead to a good start. We were only at the hotel for 3 nights so nothing to complain about.

Good looking hotel, but room and staircase need cleaning and some improvement
Pros:

Nice location. Staff is helpful and nice.

Cons:

In the attic room where we stayed, the bed was worn out and had such thin mattress you could literally feel the springs in your back.
Carpet had dirt on it. Room was missing basic equipment: nothing to store luggage on, no armchair , desk etc. One half of the room was an empty space. More of a cheap hostel style.

The Hotel needs a complete deep clean and get all the staff trained
Pros:

The Hotel is not as advertised on Booking.com. It is an unsafe place to stay. Via doors propped open with a wedge banisters on the stairs only a few. The place is filthy dirty carpets, dust on all light fittings room not serviced after one night. Breakfast just full English and that’s it no cereals no other breakfast items poorly cooked by a chef that’s not even wearing Chef From Chariot all the furniture very badly stained manager running around like a headless chicken four stars you’re joking if I could give it four minus that would be the point.

Was ok apart from a small room and this buzzing noise.Douvet could have done with a clean

Nice receptionist,very close to the town centre

Cons:

Room was small and was put at the rear of the property and I heard all the deliveries in the morning as well as noise coming from adjacent room and there was what seemed like a buzzing noise coming from outside every single night.
