Pros:

Very spacious, bus to city center is just 5min away from the apartment

Cons:

The property should make it clear that the bathroom, although private, is not in the same ambient as the bedroom. you must go first through a common space. This may not be an issue but should be more explicit. Also the door to the property do not lock, just bedroom and bathroom, hence, anyone would have access. This is very uncomfortable even more to solo travels. Please fix the lock.

Pros:

This guesthouse appears to be very recently renovated. Everything looked brand new, and was very clean. The aircon in the bedroom was very effective, which is essential given this guesthouse is on the top/attic floor, and heat rises! The shower in the private external bathroom was also very good. Very easy to get the keys from the lockbox with the code in the welcome email.

Being a couple of kilometers out of central Ljubljana, meant that the prices were very good. A regular bus service connects this guesthouse to the city centre in about 10 to 15 minutes.

Cons:

I would have scored this property at least 8 out of 10 if it wasn't for one problem - security. To access the guesthouse, there is a front door to the building. This gives access to the stairwell, with 3 or 4 other apartments on the stairwell. At the top of the stairwell, is the door to the guesthouse. So there are two doors protecting the guesthouse and the people staying there. The only problem is, these doors were always unlocked and sometimes left wide open. Even returning to the property around midnight, both the front door and guesthouse door were both always unlocked.

I did lock the doors myself, as I value security. But it became clear very quickly that I was fighting a losing battle, as nobody else in the building seems bothered about security. Of course the Citybase Rooms management is not responsible for other tenants in the building who may be leaving the front door open, but they do have more influence over their own guesthouse and the guests in it who were leaving the guesthouse door open. I would recommend that the management replace the guesthouse door with a spring loaded door that automatically closes, and similar to hotel rooms has a lock which automatically locks when closed.

The area around the guesthouse was quiet and didn't seem unsafe. But that's not the point!

Other issues was only one towel was provided for a four day stay (shower once, towel is wet. Shower twice, towel is soaked and needs replacing) and only one pillow was provided which was fairly flat and under-filled and did nothing to support my head. Properties should provide two or three pillows so that guests can choose how many they want, instead of being forced to use just one pillow.

I did see somebody who appeared to be servicing one of the rooms. I asked if they were the owner/host as I was going to discuss the security with them but this person wouldn't tell me if they were the owner, so I didn't say anything more to them.

MUY BUENO!
Pros:

Habitación amplia, cómoda y muy limpia, ubicada en un acogedor ático con mucha luz natural. Excelente ubicación y acceso sencillo. Aunque el baño es privado y está fuera de la habitación, estaba impecable y cuenta con llave propia. La cocina está muy bien equipada y la habitación incluye nevera y tazas para café. Todo perfecto, muy recomendable.

It was not very clear that it is a shared apartment with three rooms and the bathrooms are outside the room. They are private bathrooms but not inside the rooms

Was geweldig. Je had niet eens in de gaten dat er 3 kamers verhuurd werden op dezelfde verdieping.
