St Mary’s Quarter is an amazing hotel to stay in. You won’t be disappointed.
Pros:

The room was well presented, and clean. The bathroom was clean and modern. I have never experienced such a pleasant shower in my life. The private garden was clean, spacious, and provided a spectacular view of the city. I also enjoyed checking out the cave. I appreciated the quote near the cave. It adds historical context

Cons:

I should have checked the full terms and conditions but I was annoyed about the £250 deposit.

Beautiful property with excellent decor and great ambience, excellent communication from the manager
Pros:

The Ambience and the feel you get when you enter the property is beautiful , the cleanliness, the location and how accessible it is to town centre. I would definitely recommend it. The property manager was very helpful. I love the decor of the property from the entrance to everywhere, you can see the attention to details. it was a beautiful experience

Cons:

You can hear the noise from outside, it seems the double glazing on the windows are gone. Also there is no way of getting fresh air into the room, I can imagine how the room would feel like during the summer. This is for the property manager to check with the cleaners, the bathroom is sparkling clean, except for some corners of the bathroom that the cleaner need to pay special attention to, so this does not destroy the cleanliness of the property. overall it was a very beautiful experience.

Looks the part, but let down by an over-engineered check-in and cleanliness that didn’t match the price
Pros:

Beautifully designed apartment with high-end finishes — the room and bathroom look stunning, and nice touches like the quality shampoo and a decent tea and coffee selection.

Cons:

The pre-arrival process is overbearing — repeated emails and messages, passport scans for every guest, and a £250 deposit for a single night feels heavy-handed for somewhere that’s effectively a hotel. Cleanliness also didn’t match the price point: dust and grime behind the bath, water left sitting in both the kettle and coffee machine from a previous guest, and the bathroom needed another pass. At this rate, fresh milk in the fridge rather than nothing would be a fair expectation.

Pros:

Location was excellent. The room was beautiful and very clean. Had some genuinely lovely character. No messing about with keys, online check in was easy. Quiet!

Cons:

No staff, and outside of having a room, there are no other real facilities onsite.

Fab location, decor is nice but a bit sparse & it needs some blackout curtains
Pros:

Location is great

Cons:

There are no curtains & the light comes straight through the blinds in the morning. They need to put blackout blinds or curtains in.
