The hotel was absolutely brilliant, food delicious, rooms spotless, swimming pools clean and the staff from gardeners, right up to management all happy and helpful

Das Hotel ist bedenkenlos zu empfehlen
Pros:

Ganz toll eingerichtete Zimmer, alles war sehr modern und super sauber. Die Poolanlage war auch klasse. Es gab viele Liegen und ausreichend Platz. Sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet.

Cons:

Wir fanden die Preise im Restaurant etwas überteuert. Da muss man allerdings ja nicht unbedingt essen.

Pros:

The hotel, the food and the beach were a disappointment to us.
We had stayed in very good lodges in the safari and this hotel was just ok. Our mistake, of course.
The beach in Matemwe was not at all we were expecting - not clear, too hot (28°?), too salty, full of seaweed. Most people in the hotel chose to use the pools. Not us, we went to Zanzibar to swim in the Indian Ocean.
Happily there was the Mnemba Island were we found the sea we have dreamed about.
Maasai boys at the beach were very nice despite being insistent.
People at the hotel were wonderful, all of them! That's what we will never forget!

Perfect
Pros:

Really beautifully decorated, warm friendly feeling. The staff really make the place, everyone so fun and friendly. We stayed in both the luxury pool view room & the villa and both incredible.

Absolute paradise
Pros:

This place is absolute bliss!! I would 100% stay here again (or at its sister hotel) if I'm ever in Zanzibar again, which I hope to be. Beautiful hotel, right on the beach (so the sunrise views are stunning). Rooms are spacious, luxurious and comfortable, with great facilities. Nicest hotel gym I've seen in a long time, top tier equipment (although a leg press machine would be a perfect addition!) The staff, in particular Megan (manager) and Rosie (restaurant staff) were just wonderful. To top it off, the food and drink (including the themed evenings, menus and activities) were excellent.

Wish we'd have stayed longer!

The stay in Clove island was amazing. We enjoyed the food, people and the view! Everyone who worked there were extremely hospitable and made our stay much more enjoyable and easy! Un immense merci à Julie, Rehema, Diana et Selena, qui ont véritablement contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus exceptionnel. ❤️

Leur bonne humeur, leurs sourires et leur gentillesse ont vraiment fait la différence au quotidien. Une petite mention toute particulière à Rehema, pour qui j’ai eu un immense coup de cœur : une personne adorable, pleine d’humour, qui a réussi à nous faire rire et sourire tout au long de notre séjour. 🥰

Merci également à Julie pour son énergie solaire, sa disponibilité et ses précieux conseils, toujours donnés avec énormément de bienveillance.

Nous repartons avec des souvenirs merveilleux de ce séjour à couper le souffle. Les chambres sont magnifiques, l’hôtel est absolument splendide, la plage est paradisiaque et l’ensemble du personnel est d’une gentillesse incroyable. Tout était réuni pour passer un séjour inoubliable.

La nourriture est également excellente, avec beaucoup de choix et une belle variété de plats.

Nous avons réservé toutes nos activités directement avec l’hôtel et nous n’avons absolument pas été déçus. Tout était parfaitement organisé, du chauffeur jusqu’aux activités elles-mêmes. Une organisation irréprochable du début à la fin !

Un immense merci à toute l’équipe pour votre accueil, votre sourire et toutes ces petites attentions qui ont rendu notre séjour si spécial. 🫶🏼

Nous recommandons cet hôtel les yeux fermés. Vous pouvez y réserver votre séjour sans hésitation, vous ne le regretterez pas !

La ubicación: Justo delante de una playa preciosa y larguísima, al otro lado hay un colegio muy adorable y no lejos hay sitios muy ricos para comer

Cons:

El hotel está construido de tal manera (una L alrededor de la piscina) que da la sensación de que todas las habitaciones están muy cerca unas de otras. Esto puede venir bien para tener a los niños controlados desde la habitación, pero para parejas habría buscado otra cosa.

La comida del hotel no me pareció que tuviese "value for money", los precios eran elevados vs el otro hotel que estuvimos en Zanzibar. Fuimos todas las veces a los restaurantes de por fuera que estaban buenisimos!
