Excellent séjour : hôtel impeccablement géré et restaurant remarquable, nous reviendrons !
Pros:

Excellent restaurant, hôtel situé sur une magnifique plage, jardin et chambres entretenus de façon exceptionnelle pour le pays, et gestion remarquable. Vélos a disposition. Superbe piscine.

Cons:

La vue sur mer n’est malheureusement pas garantie dans toutes les chambres, ce qui a entraîné quelques attentes non remplies, mais au regard de tous les autres aspects très positifs, cela reste un détail.

Super séjour, manager et son assistante Julie adorable, très serviables toujours près à rendre service et de bon conseil. Le restaurant très bon ainsi que le petit déjeuner.Grande chambres très propres. Merci pour ce joli séjour et votre chaleureux accueil.

Très bon hôtel avec vue sur la mer
Pros:

L’accès direct à la plage est très apprécié
Le petit déjeuner est très varié et changeant c’est un plus
Les chambres sont bien entretenues et ont disposé de tout le nécessaire
La salle de sport est vraiment un plus

Cons:

Les tarifs des massages étaient un peu cher comparé a d autres hôtels

Traumhafte Villa mit wunderschönem Sandstrand
Pros:

Die Villa war ein Traum. Wunderschön eingerichtet und direkt am Meer.
Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und nicht so touristisch was und persönlich extrem zugesagt hat.

Cons:

Das obere WC in der Villa hat gestunken. Wir wissen nicht, an was dies gelegen hat. Die Bettwäsche war fleckig, wurde dann aber auf unsere Bitte hin ausgetauscht.
Die Strandverkäufer waren zum Teil etwas aufdringlich und penetrant. Mit der Zeit war dies etwas mühsam. Aber gehört einfach auch ein wenig zu Sansibar.

Our stay at Clove Island Essence & Spa Boutique was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived until the very last moment of checking out, everything exceeded our expectations.

A special thank you to Jolie and Megan, who were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely warm. They created such a personal and friendly atmosphere that leaving the hotel was honestly one of the hardest parts of our trip.

The staff deserve the highest praise. Every single team member was kind, attentive, and always smiling. It is clear that the management truly values its employees, and that happiness is reflected in the exceptional service guests receive. I even asked how they manage to keep such a motivated and cheerful team, and I was genuinely impressed by their approach to staff well-being and engagement. Well done to Megan, Jolie, and every member of the team.

Not forgetting the restaurant staff, who were simply outstanding. The food deserves its own recognition. The restaurant was exceptional, and the chef’s creativity, attention to detail, and consistently delicious dishes made every meal memorable. We actually skipped several restaurants we had planned to visit in Zanzibar because we couldn’t wait to return to the hotel’s restaurant for dinner each evening. Bravo to the chef and the entire kitchen team!

Another aspect that also deserves special recognition is the cleanliness. Every area of the hotel was impeccably maintained, from our room to the common areas and the restaurant. Housekeeping did an outstanding job every single day, and everything felt fresh, spotless, and cared for. The level of attention to detail truly enhanced the overall comfort and luxury of our stay.

If I had to summarize our experience, I would say it deserves far more than five stars. A heartfelt thank you to everyone for making our stay so special. This is truly a top-tier boutique hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar.

Pros:

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Gepflegte Anlage. Frühstücksbuffet gut, aber nicht super außergewöhnlich (aber alles da was man braucht). Strandvilla mit tollem Ausblick. Massagen waren außergewöhnlich gut.

Cons:

Speisekarte sehr europäisch/nordamerikanisch geprägt (wird aber sicherlich von vielen Touristen gewollt). Eine Kleinigkeit bezüglich Esse : Frühstückseier gibt's ala carte und man wird auch immer schön gefragt wie man seine Eier gerne hätte. Das klappt allerdings nie. Jedes war immer völlig durchgekocht, egal wie soft oder pochiert es bestellt wurde. Da bitte keine große Kunst erwarten. Manche Kellner sehr vergesslich

Pros:

Absolutamente todo. Sitio espectacular, mágico, intimo y con trato del personal excepcional. Tiene mucho encanto y es perfecto para relajarse. Especial mención a July, que se encargó de que estuviéramos de 10 todos los días. Gracias por todo!

Un auténtico paraíso y experiencia inolvidable
Pros:

El sitio es mágico y espectacular, perfecto para relajarse. El alojamiento es mejor que las fotos, supera la imaginado. Y especial atencion al trato de todo el personal, especialmente a July, que hizo que nos sintiéramos como en casa y se preocupó diariamente de que todo estuviera a nuestro gusto! Fue espectacular!!!
