I recently had the pleasure of staying at a Cove Island in Zanzibar and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was somewhere special.

The location is breathtaking. The hotel blends seamlessly into its surroundings, extending beautifully onto the beach and offering stunning views at every turn. Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying a meal, or simply walking through the grounds, there was always a sense of tranquillity and paradise.

The rooms were spacious, private and exceptionally comfortable, providing everything needed for a truly enjoyable stay. Every aspect of the property felt thoughtfully designed to maximise comfort while maintaining the natural beauty of Zanzibar.

The quality of the food was outstanding throughout my stay. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented and packed with flavour. Whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, the standard remained consistently high, and there was always something to look forward to.

However what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff… Their hospitality was among the best I have experienced anywhere in the world. Every member of the team was welcoming, friendly and genuinely invested in ensuring guests had the best possible experience. They greeted me by name every time they saw me, always with a smile on their faces. Their warmth, happiness and positive attitude were infectious, and it was clear they took great pride in what they do.

What impressed me most was their attentiveness. On the rare occasion that there was an issue or a request, it was dealt with immediately and professionally. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and their willingness to help made me feel valued throughout my stay. Seeing staff smiling, dancing and creating such a positive atmosphere added a unique charm that made the hotel feel far more personal than many luxury resorts.

Overall, this was an unforgettable experience.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations and was by far one of the highlights of our trip to Zanzibar. The property is absolutely stunning, with beautifully designed landscaping, lush greenery, and a tasteful, elegant atmosphere throughout. Everything feels harmonious, stylish, and thoughtfully planned.
The rooms are beautifully designed, modern, and exceptionally clean. We especially appreciated that the rooms were treated for mosquitoes every evening. The pools and common areas were spotless, and the entire property was maintained to a very high standard.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. The management team was always approachable, happy to answer questions, and genuinely interested in making guests feel comfortable.
The restaurant offered a diverse menu, and every meal we tried was delicious. Service could be a little slow at times, but the quality of the food more than made up for it.
We also loved that guests could use bicycles free of charge to explore the area. The hotel is still relatively new, and everything feels fresh, modern, and well cared for.
The hotel also organized a trip for us to Mnemba Island, and everything was arranged perfectly. The experience was seamless, professional, and exceeded our expectations.

We loved the hotel ! Large and beautifully decorated room, creates a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. A special thank you to Jully and Megan, who were outstanding throughout our stay. They were always friendly, helpful, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.
The spa treatments were excellent and the gym was well-equipped and maintained. One of the highlights was the amazing sea view.
The only thing to keep in mind is that there is very little to do in the immediate area surrounding the hotel.
Overall, we highly recommend Cloves to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway with excellent

Tout était parfait, l’hôtel est superbe et nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Villan var mycket stor, bekväm och prisvärd med en fantastisk utsikt. Egen utgång direkt till stranden. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Det var ett stort plus med gym och två pooler. Städningen höll hög standard och det fanns en supermarket i närheten.

We had a lovely stay ! The property is peaceful, well kept, and beautifully located. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday.
The staff were very friendly. They made us feel very welcome and also provided a baby cot for our child, which was very helpful. We also enjoyed the food and the quiet atmosphere of the hotel.
