Pros:

It was right there at the pier in the middle of most of the action

Cons:

They charged me for parking $10 a day. When it was supposed to be free. There was no continental breakfast and they had no sugar for the coffee at the lobby
The establishment can make a lot more money. If they opened up the kitchen again. The shower was huge, but the water pressure. It was awful.

Bad experience :( NO VOLVERIA
Cons:

My experience at this hotel was disappointing. From the moment I walked in, the hallways and entrance smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which made a very poor first impression.

The ice machine was out of ice and looked dirty, as if it hadn't been properly cleaned or maintained.

The pool was much smaller than I expected, and the parking spaces were extremely narrow, making it difficult to park a vehicle.

In addition, when I arrived to check out, I had to wait quite a long time because there was no one at the front desk to assist me.

Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay, and this is not a hotel I would choose to return to.

Beds were comfortable and the room was clean

Cons:

Parking was terrible. No beach access. No access to building from parking lot next door. Closed bathrooms in the lobby.Too much of a hassle getting back in the building from the parking lot

My stay at breakers was decent but it would not be in my top 5 stays in Va Beach.
Pros:

Right on the beach. Close to stores and food.

Cons:

Parking was the worst situation ever. Pillows were flat. And had to go to a different floor to get ice.

The location

Cons:

The clerk said there were no rooms ready at 2:45. The parking lot was empty. Then he asked me to take all my stuff off the cart because people needed it when A:"there were no rooms ready" and B: there were 3 other carts sitting there.
And a bunch of crack heads live there.

I have never been told there aren't any rooms ready no matter the check in time
I will not be staying there again and will not recommend the Breaker

Nice spot.
Pros:

Right on the beach. Beds were comfy. Liked the balcony. Plenty of towels. Rates were nice

Cons:

Compared to the surrounding hotels it just seemed like the less renovated.
