We have stayed here many times but we haven’t been to VA beach for a couple years. The hotel used to be very nice and clean. It needs a lot of work and needs cleaned better. There was no AC in the halls. Probably not going to stay here again. Which is upsetting cause we used to really like this hotel.

Great location, decent price, but nothing great about the hotel, she’s dingy and needs a makeover

i am 66, honorably discharged veteran. with all my traveling this was worse experience ever.

The gentlemen Steven who was working Wednesday evening upon check-in at 9pm was extremely kind and helpful.

Cons:

Please know I am an honorably discharged veteran. But I am disabled.
FIRST of all, I do get offended that the employee uses the spot right by the door and elevators for her own personal usage. Disregarding it is for handicap. Perhaps if she is truly disabled she should provide documentation the same as all of us have to do. This would clear up any future handicap situations.
SECOND the front desk stated the maintenance was contacted as there was a defective refrigerator. We brought it to night desk persons attention. Man came the next day. Said he fixed it. However, a short later my daughter slipped and fell right Infront of refrigerator. it wasn't fixed.' Maintenance did come up and replace broken refrigerator. in the mean time we had used our towels to clean up the refrigerator area. i requested for housekeeping to furnished clean towels. No need to tend room. just towel. I made 3 attempts, once to housekeeping, twice to day shift front desk representative, it was after midnight and the same respectful young man Steven went and got us some fresh towels.
Had we not been going to the Jason Aldean concert, I would have taken my daughter to emergency room. She said her back muscles hurt.
Not once did anyone offer anything regarding the refrigeration situation, my daughter falling, fresh towels or for the handicap parking situation. No courtesies given/offered at all.
