Pros:

Extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, relativ ruhiges Zimmer nach hinten (vordere Zimmer wohl mit Strassenlärm). Bus zum Flughafen hält fast direkt vor dem Hotel. Zentrum und Hafen zu Fuss erreichbar.

Cons:

Wegen Flughafennähe teilweise Fluglärm.

Near main bus-station, near Knossos bus-stop and near McDonalds and cafe, approx 10 min walk to city center

Cons:

Poor and simple breakfast, no buffet.
Unfortunately the hot water didnt work when I was there.

Adequate Stay
Pros:

Its perfection location to the port where we needed to catch a SEAJet fast ferry to Santorini. It was only 10 minutes walk away.

The nearest McDonalds is only two min walk away.

Cons:

The room felt a bit dated. The bathroom was even more dated and would really do with a complete renovation.

It is also about 15 minutes' walk to the centre of town with restaurants and shops.

Perfect for our short stay to get a 4am ferry.
Pros:

Location perfect for early morning ferry. Lovely hosts very friendly and welcoming. Great suggestions for restaurants. Lovely welcome Raki and cake. Windows sound proofed.

Pros:

Lovely people and good rooms. Nice bar area at the front as it was hot and we were tired after the flight so excellent for a quick drink without have to go too far. Very close to bus stops for Knossos and for the central bus station going to Rethymno.

Cons:

No coffee in the rooms. Only tea but the reception gave us some coffee when we asked.

Ready to sail next morning.
Pros:

The location of this hotel was ideal for catching our boat the next early morning. The hotel itself was ok.It has a lift. The room itself was slightly narrow and bed table in the wrong spot. And on the wall opposite our bed was the largest mirror in Christendom. And the staff were very friendly.

Cons:

Not much really. Location was great. Not sure if we could have stayed too many nights but who knows 🤷
