Etablissement haut de gamme, à l'écart de l'agitation touristique
Pros:

Maroje (de l'accueil) est particulièrement serviable, de bon conseil, et fort sympathique. Ce n'est pas le cas de tout le monde à l'hôtel Vallum, mais la présence de Maroje compense largement.
L'hôtel Vallum est un établissement très propre (pour ainsi dire neuf), à l'esthétique luxueuse et soignée, sans être pour autant "tape à l'œil". L'insonorisation de notre logement était presque parfaite.
Rien ne manque, à part peut-être un restaurant pour les déjeuners et diners (Il n'y en a que pour le petit déjeuner).
Mais surtout, c'est un lieu extraordinairement calme, situé suffisamment loin des animations bruyantes, tout en étant à seulement 15 minutes à pieds de l'hypercentre.
Deux plages discrètes et peu fréquentées se trouvent à proximité. Si vous recherchez la tranquillité (et de l'eau claire), un petit paradis vous attend là.

Cons:

Pas grand chose à reprocher :
- Peut-être le tarif élevé… Mais enfin, on n'a rien sans rien.
- Le petit déjeuner est correct sans être exceptionnel, mais surtout, l'équipe a besoin de trouver son rythme pour offrir un service moins approximatif dès qu'il y a un tout petit peu de monde dans la salle.
- J'ai demandé à l'hôtel de gérer mes transferts, mais ce fut une erreur. J'aurais fait tout aussi bien (et pour bien moins cher) en gérant ces opérations par moi-même avec Bolt ou Uber. Pour le retour à l'aéroport, le chauffeur s'est présenté avec 1/4 d'heure de retard sans explications ni excuses.
- Je n'ai pas été personnellement impacté par ce problème, mais j'ai vu plusieurs fois des personnes circuler sur des terrasses de chambres louées, pensant qu'il s'agissait de zones de circulations "libres". Il y a ici un manque flagrant de signalisation qui doit provoquer des situations pour le moins gênantes. Problème à mettre sur le compte de la jeunesse de l'établissement, et qui devrait pouvoir se solutionner après quelques réglages...

Wonderful apartments offering the comfort and level of service of a very good hotel. Everything was excellent: cleanliness, convenience, and an exceptionally attentive staff. We would especially like to mention the young man at reception, who was professional, kind, and genuinely eager to help. Because our daughter was unwell, breakfast was arranged for us in the room, and the restaurant staff even prepared oatmeal cooked with water especially for her, although it was not on the menu. We truly appreciated this thoughtful care.

It is a pity that we did not have the chance to use the complimentary boat service to the private island available to guests of the complex. Overall, our stay left us with an excellent impression. This is undoubtedly one of the best places to stay on the coast. Many thanks to the entire team for their care, attention, and for making our stay so enjoyable!

Magnifique hôtel, service, impeccable.
Pros:

Magnifique hôtel. Idéalement situé. La vue est spectaculaire et le restaurant qui appartient sur l’île en face est vraiment extraordinaire.

Cons:

Chambre extrêmement spacieuse, hyper confortable. Le séjour était parfait

Pěkný hotel, ale..
Pros:

Velmi pěkný hotel, čistý, blízko moře, dobrá výbava kuchyně v apartmánu, možnost zaparkovat v garáži - tím pádem vůz ve stínu

Cons:

Nejednalo se o zcela jasný výhled na moře z našeho apartmánu, ačkoliv jsem jej předpokládal. Stínily jej dvě stojící budovy hotelu. Na pokoji chyběly lepší instrukce k fungování hotelu, jako bývá zvykem jinde, tj. časy provozu bazénu/baru/časy odjezdy lodí na ostrov s restaurací, případně jiné praktické informace - nejbližší obchod, atp. Součástí byly přes QR kód zejména instrukce co se nesmí a co nedělat. Přístup a příjemnost personálu byl pouze lepší průměr v dané cenové hladině a kvalitě hotelu.

Fantastyczne miejsce, które z czystym sumieniem mogę polecić każdemu. Hotel zachwyca komfortem, wygodą oraz doskonałą atmosferą. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje niezwykle pomocna i życzliwa obsługa, która sprawia, że pobyt staje się jeszcze przyjemniejszy. Śniadania są świeże, różnorodne i bardzo smaczne – każdego dnia można znaleźć coś dla siebie. Dodatkowym atutem jest dogodna lokalizacja – zaledwie 10 minut jazdy samochodem od lotniska. Do Dubrownika można wygodnie dostać się zarówno taksówką, jak i łodzią, a odległość jest w pełni akceptowalna. Zdecydowanie miejsce warte polecenia w 100%!

Pros:

I love Hotel Vallum, I stayed there twice on my recent visit to Croatia. The rooms are new and beautiful, the staff are friendly and professional, the Spa is one of the best I have been to. There is also a great 5km walking/running path that is mainly car free. It goes through the small town of Cavtat and then around the tree lined peninsula. Very picturesque.

Cons:

It is a 1.5km walk into Cavtat, and the start part of this path is not great. But the rest is wonderful. Not sure that the hotel can do anything about this though.
It would be ideal to have a washing machine in the apartment as well.
