Nice but need some polishing

Cons:

-I would like to share my concerns regarding our recent stay at KAY Homes, as unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our overall experience.

To begin with, the first villa we were given had cockroaches throughout the property, which was extremely unpleasant and certainly not the standard of cleanliness we expected. I do, however, appreciate that once I raised the issue, the staff responded promptly and moved us to another villa.

Another issue was the Wi-Fi and its connection to the TVs in the rooms. As guests, we expect basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and the televisions to be properly set up and ready to use upon arrival. Several of the TVs could not connect at all, and the Wi-Fi connection itself was extremely weak, making it difficult to use these facilities properly.

The most concerning incident, however, occurred during our second night. A security staff member entered our villa and informed us that we had to stop using the pool and that we were not allowed to swim at that time.

I would like to emphasize that this villa was advertised as having a private pool. The word private is important here. Having a security staff member enter the villa to tell us when we could or could not use our own private pool was both surprising and uncomfortable. If there are restrictions on the hours during which guests are permitted to use a private pool, these should be clearly communicated before booking or at the very least upon check-in.

What baffled me most was the lack of privacy. When booking a private villa with a private pool, guests reasonably expect to have privacy within the property they have paid for. Having someone enter the villa in this manner, particularly at night, made us feel uncomfortable and took away from the sense of privacy that was one of the main reasons for booking a villa in the first place.
