The staff more than anything - extremely helpful, friendly and caring. Always a smile.
The rooms are kept immaculately clean by the two ladies who tend to them as well as the hotel in general.
Hassan who manages the hotel is extremely helpful, and a genuinely very pleasant man who goes beyond any expectation of his role.
The rooms are spacious. The beds are very comfortable.

found Square One to be just what I wanted. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and contain all the facilities you'd expect. The hotel itself is well maintained and very clean due to the pleasant and diligent staff who maintain it.
The ladies who maintain the rooms are wonderful and your room left pristine once made up.
The rooms are secure and a safe deposit box is available. The whole site has cameras so even sitting in reception at 04:00 in the morning I felt very at ease.
The location as far as I was concerned was perfect; close to local shops, laundry service and restaurants, and if the beach is what you fancy - then it's a 10 minute walk (if that). On the whole it's quiet although because of the make-up of the stairwells you can sometimes be awakened by late night revellers.
Hassan is the star of the place. He is always cheerful and goes way beyond any normal assistance you'd receive in a hotel.
I found my time at Square One relaxing and just what I needed.
If I was in Patong in the future I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Good location
La primera noche estuve sola en la habitación que es bastante grande. Es una zona tranquila, no sé escucha la musica
La habitación olía a humedad. Es posible que estuviera cerrada un tiempo. La habitación no tenía llaves para cerrar aunque es verdad que el dueño estaba siempre en la puerta.
Cuando me bañé en la piscina me manche de azul... ¿Estaría recién pintada? Lo dudo.
