Wieder buchen, aber mit Zimmer hinten raus
Pros:

Domaine Gao ist wunderschön gelegen und einfach mit so viel Geschmack ausgestattet worden. Wir hatten ein tolles großes Zimmer und einen ganz wunderbaren Abend im Hotelrestaurant verbracht. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Ich würde gern 10 Punkte geben, musste aber welche abziehen, da die Nacht nicht so angenehm war. Wir hatten ein Zimmer Richtung Restaurantterrasse und da war es leider um halb 3 in der Nacht immer noch laut. Wenn man ein Hotel hat, das Zimmer in diese Richtung anbietet, dann muss, meiner Meinung nach, auch darauf geachtet werden, dass die angegebene Schließzeit um Mitternacht eingehalten wird und auf der Terrasse Ruhe einkehrt.

Nice location and hotel if you like relentless music. they have priorities all wrong about guests v visitors
Pros:

Beautiful building and setting. Tastefully decorated. Comfy bed and decent breakfast.

Cons:

WARNING despite the country setting if you want peace and quiet this is not the hotel for you. We arrived on Sunday afternoon to a full blown house music party with a dj set up on a stage. We went to check in at the reception but the music was so loud we couldn’t be heard. At first they assumed we wanted a drink in the bar. This hotel seems to prefer non hotel guests. The following night there was a rowdy crowd outside our room till 11.00pm. A previous review said ‘the music never stops’.
Their website says there may be music or dj’s from 1 June so thought we’d be fine. But no.
Staff were all perfectly nice, with Jeremy being excellent. However we had an unpleasant rude welcome from Damien who when we asked about evening tapas menu, he just shrugged and said to scan barcode on table. Like we were an inconvenience to him.

Retomber sous le charme de la Provence
Pros:

On se sent bien dans ce petit coin de Provence, à deux pas d’Aix mais tellement au calme. La bâtisse participe à une véritable immersion en Provence verte.
La table est excellente 😋 Nous nous sommes régalés !
L’engagement écologique est là et ça fait plaisir de voir les hôtels qui s’engagent de plus en plus.

Cons:

Juste la petite allée en gravillon qui mène du parking à l’hôtel, avec les bagages à roulette… c’est pas très facile mais ce n’est qu’un détail.

Magnifique !
Pros:

Ce domaine est vraiment magnifique : un jardin et piscine bien entretenus avec arbres, fleurs, buissons et une terrasse pour boire un verre dehors, une ambiance champêtre reposante avec des lumières accrochées parmi les grands arbres, un petit déjeuner sous une verrière charmante, un accueil chaleureux, une jolie décoration avec un calme incroyable la nuit, des lits très confortables, une belle chambre avec douche et baignoire. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour et nous parlerons de ce domaine a nos amis! Trois parkings aux alentours du domaine (cela facilite si le premier est plein), des canapés confortables en extérieur. Le domaine est très bien entretenu et ma qualité des prestations est exceptionnelle.

Cons:

Seul petit bémol : il y avait un gel douche qui sentait délicieux (frais avec odeurs de menthes et d'agrumes) que nous avons apprécié. Malheureusement, nous avons oublié notre shampooing et comme il n'en avait pas dans la salle de bain, nous avons dû nous laver les cheveux avec du savon. Le petit + aurait été d'en avoir a disposition. Mais cela ne nous a pas gâché notre séjour et cela n'enlève en rien nos appréciations générales du lieu et du personnel.
