APPRECIATION OF ALPENROSLI!
Pros:

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and I would particularly like to thank Gavin. The situation was perfect, with a great view of the Jungfrau. I woke up in the middle of the night and there were lots of stars in the sky: close and really beautiful. Breakfast was excellent -- an unusual way of scrambling eggs (cooked in the oven?) which was delicious! And there were lovely coloured boiled eggs as well. The birchermuesli and the beautifully fresh fruit salad were really appreciated. And the cheese and charcuterie were very good.
The staff was really pleasant; we were late finishing breakfast and they waited patiently, without hurrying us up or starting to clear anything away.
We liked walking through the rose garden! and seeing the many beautiful old chalets in the village.
And appreciated being able to park the car in front of the hotel as well. We will come back for a longer stay!

Cons:

Our room was on the third floor and although the view was marvellous, being handicapped, I did not appreciate the long set of stairs. There was no lift.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Tolle Lage!

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist sehr spärlich und nicht wirklich nach Schweizer Standart, sondern mehr für Touristen und klein. Das fande ich als Schweizerin ein bisschen schade.
