Die Lage ist bereits ein großes Plus: Die U-Bahn ist fußläufig erreichbar, ebenso schöne Stadtbezirke und Märkte – ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Kyoto.
Was das Hotel darüber hinaus auszeichnet, ist die Atmosphäre. Das Team ist herzlich und sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sind toll gestaltet – mit Küche, Waschmaschine und Klimaanlage in allen Bereichen. Die Lobby lädt zum Verweilen ein: Tagsüber stehen Kakao, Tee und Kaffee – heiß oder eisgekühlt – bereit, abends gibt es Sake und Bier inklusive. Aktivitäten wie Kalligrafie runden das Angebot ab und sorgen für eine einladende, besondere Stimmung.
Der Preis ist gehoben, wird aber durch die Qualität und den Service vollständig gerechtfertigt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Hotel in schöner Lage. U-Bahn und Laden in 100m Entfernung. Märkte, Sehrnswürdigkeiten und vieles mehr in 15-20 min zu Fuß zu erreichen oder schneller per Metro.
Wunderschöne saubere Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, Küche, Waschmaschine. In der Lobby Wasser, Tee, Kaffee, Kakao etc. Und abends auch Bier und Sake inklusive.
Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Etwas teurer, aber dafür auch sehr gut.

Where do I start? My room had two separate bedrooms with their own doors, a living room setup, dining room table, refrigerator, AND a washer/dryer combo. My room also had two full bathrooms, which was great for the four of us. All of my other rooms in Japan (also at Mimarus) had a bunk bed next to the double bed and one full bathroom. There was also complementary beer and sake everyday between certain hours in the lobby.

Lovely staff and complimentary sake/beer/hot drinks was a nice touch.

Felt very secure.

Walking distance to the markets.

Location near train station, restaurants, and shopping was perfect; Staff was supportive, polite and easy to work with; Access to breakfast at the nearby hotel was great

We were concerned arriving as we were being taken by taxi up back alleys! But it's actually quite convenient, just a few steps from the main road. Plenty of food and shopping options on that main road, in both directions from the hotel and multiple convenience stores. We could walk to Nishiki Markets which was great. The Pokemon Centre was also walkable (7min) for my sons. We found this location great for sites, as we took taxis to Kyoto Palace, Kinkaku-ji and Kiyomizudera. We day tripped to Nara and Himeji. We had the Japanese room with tatami, it also had 2 bedrooms with a combined lounge/kitchen/dining. It was great and spacious. The washing machine was a great bonus but be aware it doesn't seem to have a cycle shorter than 3 hrs. The reception staff were always friendly.

The hotel was at a great location. It was close to the train station and it was close to most things many tourists would visit in Kyoto. The hotel room was also very clean and well stocked. The staff were friendly and the open bar and free coffee were huge bonuses to staying here.
