We booked 2 rooms for us and the kids - they sent a message the afternoon of our arrival when we were already on the plane that the rooms were far away - when we protested said was our problem we should have made sure, rooms were musty and not clean the sink leaked so water on floor and rust in several places. Path to get to the rooms were bad dirty and dangerous - other properties in this area were very nice - feel cheated

Não gostamos de nada, tínhamos um sonho de estar no Sophia "Luxury" Suits para comemoração do nosso aniversário de 10 anos de casamento, uma vez que ficamos lá na nossa lua de mel. Experiência péssima.

Cons:

Quarto sujo, piso com cabelos, banheiro com cabelos pelo chão, poltrona com poeira e teias de aranha. Quando fui abrir o refrigerador, para ver se tinha ao menos uma água, para minha surpresa tinha resto de comida dentro da geladeira. Os vidros que davam vista, para a Caldeira, estavam todos sujos. E para piorar, os lençóis estavam sujos com machas. Tudo documentado com foto. Chamamos a recepção para verem, e constataram tudo. Pedi para fazer um upgrade (mesmo que tivesse que pagar), mas não tinha opção. Assim então pedi o cancelamento da reserva, gastamos mais de R$ 13.000 reais na hospedagem decepcionante. Então na mesma hora reservamos o Tholos, por R$ 10.000,00 na suíte com hidro na sacada e uma vista maravilhosa. Agora só espero, que tenha o reembolso por parte do Sophia, uma vez que o cancelamento da reserva após reclamação foi feita por eles.

Location is fantastic, but be wary of cold indoor pool and cold staff.
Pros:

Location is spectacular. Really the only good thing going for this hotel.

Cons:

Service was lacking with bare minimum hospitality. We paid a premium for the room with an indoor pool, however the pool was cold and unusable. We notified the staff and nothing was done for over 24 hrs and the pool temperature was never rectified during our stay.

L'emplacement était super, le personnel arrangeant pour l'entrée et la sortie du logement

Cons:

La communication était laborieuse avec les gérants, les petits déjeuners arrivaient tout le temps incomplets, le logement n'a pas été adapté au nombre de personne que nous étions, connexion wifi instable

Location good service needs work
Pros:

The location and views are perfect, and sells itself. The service staff are welcoming and friendly. So many local places to eat. Recommend the little restaurant next to the church before the Xonderti dessert bar, food and service was amazing.

Cons:

Unfortunately the lack of reception impacts the servuce. The lady who manages it was a little off the ball and had to ve asked a few times for things like wifi, menus etc. All communication needed via whats app. The property itself needs a little love with the ront door and windows not locking, door handles falling off etc. We had to check out early for our flight and whilst luggage carried down to room was complimentary there was going to be a charge to get luggage carried up the stairs because there is no staff before 8am.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Sophia Luxury Suites. The property itself is simply breathtaking — the views from the hotel are beyond amazing, truly something special. The sunset from here was even more spectacular than what we experienced in Oia or anywhere else on the island. It felt private, serene, and incredibly romantic.

What made our experience even more exceptional was Vasiliki. She is an absolute gem — always joyful, warm, and genuinely happy to assist. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were welcomed with complimentary drinks, delicious Mosaiko Kormos (a traditional Greek cake), and ice cream — such a lovely touch!

She also kindly arranged a complimentary taxi transfer for us from Imerovigli to Fira, which was completely unexpected. And just when we thought the hospitality couldn’t get any better, she surprised us with a traditional Volcano Soap as a farewell souvenir. Every gesture felt thoughtful and sincere.

Vasiliki truly made sure our stay was happy, comfortable, and incredibly romantic. Her hospitality elevated the entire experience.

Highly recommended place — a must-stay in Santorini!

PS: The complimentary perks we received may vary depending on time and availability. We were pleasantly surprised, as none of this was mentioned during booking — which made the experience even more special.
