Perfect rest stop between flights

The staff was friendly. The bed was quite comfortable.

Cons:

The room was very hot. I arrived approximately 10:00 pm. The cooling fan was very loud, but efficient. The condition and aesthetics of the air conditioner was very appalling. On the ledge of the unit there was small pieces of what appeared to be concrete. In the morning, when I put the lights on there was a a lot of sunflower seeds on the floor beside a garbage can and recycling can. There was also a dark stain on the carpet a few feet from this area.
The bathroom floor was quite dirty with hair and other dirt. The worst was under the bathroom garbage can. The clear tray that held the body wash etc., was very dirty. The bag of the hair blower was very dirty and dusty. I did call the front desk a few times, but there was no answer. When checking out I told the fro t desk agent about all of these concerns.

This large hotel is a good basic stay for a day or two. The attached ( Moxies) restaurant is a nice feature too. I don’t have any issue with the hotel.
One of the main reasons I chose this Sandman hotel was its airport shuttle service which turns out to be a disappointment. I exited the airport at 5:30 pm after about 17 hours flying time and called for the shuttle service. Was put on hold twice for about 5 minutes and the 3rd call I made, I stayed on until they answered and that last call took 16 minutes and 9 seconds until a person actually picked up and helped me. I later talked to some staff members who indicated that this is becoming a reoccurring issue and is causing problems.That is unacceptable and I will not be staying here again because of that. I need to emphasize that it is the front desk dispatch that is the problem, not the actual shuttle itself.
