Catastrophic

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.

We were travelling as a family with a young child and were unable to sleep due to extremely loud and aggressive arguments coming from the neighbouring room throughout the night.

We personally approached the guests at approximately 9 PM, 10 PM and midnight and politely asked them to keep the noise down. In addition, we contacted the hotel reception at around 10 PM, 11 PM and 1 AM and explained that the situation was making it impossible for anyone to sleep.

Despite several complaints and requests for assistance, the disturbance continued for hours and no effective action was taken. As a result, our family got very little sleep and the night was extremely stressful.

What disappointed us even more was the lack of response from the hotel afterwards. When asked at check-out how our stay had been, we explained that it had been terrible due to the noise and sleepless night. The only response we received was a brief apology.

We understand that hotels cannot always prevent disruptive behaviour by guests. However, we do expect staff to take effective action when repeated complaints are made and to show greater concern when a family’s stay has been significantly affected.

Unfortunately, we left feeling that our concerns were not taken seriously.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful city.
Pros:

Nice quiet hotel in a beautiful location. The hotel rooms we good size and well designed. Everything you needed for a great stay.

Dated decor, very 80s-90s, the restaurants and bars were so expensive we couldn’t use them.

Pros:

Food quality, staff friendly but many of them don't speak English properly. Is a massive building with shops, restaurants and anything you might need, but sometimes confusing to connect from one place to another. The Japanese garden is impressive

Cons:

Rooms to small. Prices in restaurants too high. Breakfast in tower restaurant does not have good coffee, is self service (not good in a 5* hotel)

Pros:

It was a beautiful facility with a wonderful staff. They were very helpful and attentive. Beautiful view of the Tokyo skyline from our room at night.

Cons:

There were security guards posted everywhere throughout the hotel and it made it feel a bit tense and not quite as relaxed as I prefer. Just a bit pricey for the room amenities provided.

Séjour sans problème
Pros:

La taille des chambres est très grande (surtout pour les hôtels à Tokyo). La chambre avait les rangements nécessaires et tout l'équipement habituel nécessaire et était très propre.

Cons:

L'hôtel se trouve dans un immeuble (tour) avec d'autres établissements - magasins, bureaux, resturants. L'orientation au sein de batiment en est assez déroutante.

Lage ist sehr zentral, U-Bahnhaltestellen sind in der Nähe. Der Japanische Garten am Hotel ist sehr schön. Die Aussicht von Unserem Zimmer auf die abendliche Skyline von Tokyo hat uns sehr gefallen.
