Stunning views but hotel is very tired and in desperate need of update.
Pros:

The local is fantastic for those who want to be on the beach. The view is beautiful as are the grounds. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Cons:

The tennis courts are in short a shambles. Unplayable. It’s a real shame as they could be wonderful but have not been maintained. When we asked about other courts at sister hotels this was not an option. Instead we got a cab into Alvor and played there.

Cons:

Very hard to find. Very difficult to find Hotel. 6 Pestana Hotels in Alvor. No clear signs from Road.
Had to go outside by pool to reach our room which was difficult in the rain & dark and hazardous.

Excellent stay, would recommend
Pros:

Great location, excellent facilities, beautiful pool and the breakfast was great. Walk into town via boardwalk only took 20 minutes.

Cons:

The bathroom in our bedroom needed replacing as tired and dated. Some boards on the sun deck also needed some repairs as loose.

Tolle Lage aber die Sterne nicht wert

Die Lage ist Top aber nicht das Hotel.
5 Sterne absolut

Cons:

Teilweise Baustellen im Haus.
Poolbereich Katatrophe. Holz- oder PVC Belag teilweise defekt. Keine Auflagen auf den Liegen ( Liegen auch nicht sauber)
Keine Auflagen auf den Stühlen. Bei Nachfrage kam die Antwort: wir haben Vögel die machen alles voll deshalb bleiben Auflagen und Sitzkissen weg“ unglaublich.
Blumenkübel nicht bepflanzt usw.
Personal teilweise unfreundlich.
Lediglich das Frühstück und Abendbuffet war ok.
