It was clean, tidy, the bed was comfortable, the room was large, the bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely and hot. Staff were very friendly and helpful. WiFi worked perfectly inside and outside. We would definitely stay again. You could eat in the hotel restaurant but there are also a few other pubs and restaurants close by so there is a choice.
Warm welcome, good sized ground floor room.
No Aircon or fan
Room was large, well furnished and clean with a garden and Mountain View. Restaurant staff were nice and food was good quality and well cooked and presented.
This hotel caters for coach parties so as a solo traveller had plan meal early to miss the masses.
The rooms across the road are in desperate need of improvement, decor and furniture.
The walls are also very thin which means you can hear conversations all the time
I found an insect on the bedside table next to my bed. I took a photo of it and had it identified. It was an adult bed bug. Need I say more.

All the staff we met were very welcoming, polite and eager to help
Breakfast was a bit hectic and noisy with about 4 coach loads of people in and out and therefore queues for food, some trays empty by the time I got there and taking time to refill.
The property was a lot nicer and more modern than the photos listed.

It was a place to sleep
No air conditioning.
No fans in the rooms.
No irons in the rooms.
Tub/shower was so slippery and there wasn’t a mat in the tub to stop slipping. There was nothing to hold on to get in and out of the shower. (Handles on the top of the tub don’t work for this purpose).
Great location
Bathroom was disappointing - old fashioned and shower attachment wasn't adjustable. Breakfast was really disappointing for the money.
