Entspannung mit besten Bedingungen
Pros:

Die besonders ruhige Lage mit der Bademöglichkeit im See.
Jeder Besuch des Restaurants zahlte sich aus, jedoch bot das Frühstück alles was ein hungriger Gast begehrt.

Cosy energy fueled place
Pros:

Friendly staff. Free entrance and sunbeds for monastery guests. Clean lake and coast with lots of shadow and great bar and oica master. Aromatherapy products sold at reception and bakery products.
Sacred positive charging energy of the place: crypt, church. and lake itself.
Lots of vegetables and fruits for breakfast and great bakeries. Excelent rindsoup and home made bisquits.
Peaceful place and great view on the lake.

Cons:

Dinner: more variety of meat at least for us.
Clima in rooms in these hot days in summer heat or at least ventilators in the rooms to get out humidity.
Mosquito nets maybe or reppelent not available or ventilator to be borrowed.

Pros:

In the middle of the old carinthian region with 3 castles under 15 minutes drive, nearby historic town of sankt veit and althofen in a lovely lake valley. There is a gorgeous view of triglav from the restaurant. The lake is beautiful, it has beautiful gardens with lovely nooks and gorgeous views. Dinner and breakfast was tasty with bread from its own bakery. The building is also gorgeous. You will fall in love with this place. The entrance to the lakes beach is included!

Cons:

There could be a minifridge in the room and the vending machine I used gave me a warm coke, but thats just a nitpick.

Pros:

Posizione ed accessibilità ottimali; splendido panorama verso le Alpi a sud e scorcio sul lago ad ovest; l’ex convento emana un fascino particolare e per nulla opprimente; nel prezzo è compreso l’accesso alla spiaggia sul lago distante poco meno di 1 km.

Cons:

Problema complesso: la nostra camera, ma penso tutte, non è attrezzata per le ondate di calore che purtroppo in estate sono sempre più frequenti anche a nord delle Alpi; tenere la finestra aperta migliorava un po’ la situazione a costo di una certa collezione entomologica. Suggerirei di installare almeno un ventilatore e magari una zanzariera, ma anche in loro assenza pernottamento ampiamente positivo e consigliato.

Vier Sterne sind keinesfalls gerechtfertigt

Die Lage und das stiftseigene Strandbad war sehr schön;

Cons:

Das war die letzte Herberge auf unserer Rundreise wir waren enttäuscht alle Herbergen im Ausland waren besser,
zumal es auch eine halbe Baustelle war im ganzen Haus überall Kabel in den Gängen die teils schlampig abisoliert waren und man sogar mit den Händen dran kam.

Tolles Hotel, Küche weniger.
Pros:

Netter Empfang, tolles Zimmer mit Seeblick, die ganze Anlage ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Das Frühstück war gut und wir hatten noch Zeit, das Seebad zu genießen.

Cons:

Wir waren leider ziemlich enttäuscht vom Abendessen. Das Hotel wirbt mit seiner guten Küche, aber als wir da waren, gab es abends Essen vom Buffet und das war auf Kantinenniveau. Wenig Auswahl, unschön präsentiert, lieblos gekocht, nachgelegt oder mal sauber gemacht wurde nicht. Dazu eine Atmosphäre im Speisesaal wie in einer Jugendherberge- das war nicht schön.

What a shame, it could have been perfect with so little effort

Beautiful building and scenery

Cons:

Staff was ignorant, too few and too unexperienced. 20 minutes to even get a chance to order drinks for dinner. Buffe wasn’t refilled properly unless guests pointed it out to staff. Far too expensive for that type of service and food quality.
