Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Effective 1 June 2014, a local government fee of MYR 2 per room per night will be imposed. This is payable directly to the hotel upon check in.
For reservations of more than 3 rooms, guests are required by the property to pay 100% of the first night for each room upon making a booking.

Penang Local Heritage Fee of RM2 per night will be collected during Check-InPlease inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Good value for money, very strategic location.
Pros:

Great location, walking distance to a lot of eateries and attractions in the historical part of the city.

Cons:

Sound proofing is inadequate, on my first night I think the room beside me was checking out early in the morning, I was constantly woken by noises in the middle of the night.
Subsequent nights were okay.

El hotel se encuentra cerca del centro histórico, para ir andando, buenas instalaciones y personal amable. Hay supermercados cerca y sitios donde comer.

Pros:

Lokacja hotelu jest świetna, blisko największych atrakcji George Town. Pokoje przestronne, z niezłym wyposażeniem - pokój posiadał klimatyzację, czajnik, telewizor (niestety bez smart TV - realnie telewizor odbierał 2-3 kanały satelitarne w języku malajskim). Dostępna też była darmowa woda na korytarzu. Ponadto pokoje były dobrze wyciszone - pomimo bardzo głośnej ulicy, imprez muzycznych na przeciwko i obok hotelu, nie było ich w ogóle słychać. Materac i łóżko również były w porządku. AGD działało bez zarzutu.

Cons:

Pokój niestety był dość zużyty i brudny. Zasłona w łazience miała na sobie okazałego, czarnego grzyba. Ponadto ściana odchodziła wraz z tynkiem w paru miejscach, tworząc wybrzuszenia i wyrwy. W rogach pokoju znajdował się kurz, a na podłodze okazjonalnie walały się grube, czarne włosy, pomimo serwisu sprzątającego (jesteśmy blondynami). Wykładzina na korytarzu, z którego bezpośrednio wchodziło się do pokoju, była bardzo poplamiona i brudna. Budziło to nasz dyskomfort na tyle, że unikaliśmy chodzenia na boso w całym hotelu.

Pros:

Molto vicina alle vie dello street food e molto vicina a piedi alla zona del porto, circa 1km se vi piace camminare (a noi si). Nel raggio di 3/4km in ogni direzione si hanno quasi tutte le attrazioni, vie ecc.

Cons:

Struttura che mostra un po' gli anni, pareti del bagno scartocciate, tendina con la muffa.

Unfortunately next door (Ng Fook Thong Temple) having some activities (live rock music, accounstic drum, etc.) during my stay, it's noisy till late night 11pm - 12am, affecting the sleep.
