The room was fantastic and unique, quite quirky. You could actually see the Mother of Georgia status from the bathroom! The rooftop pool and views were exceptional!
Breakfast was a little underwhelming for the cost. The buffet was a bit odd and the food looked tired. But the omelettes were made fresh. Some staff were young and really not bothered, no one explained anything when we arrived.
We really loved the location, beautiful grounds and the service- polite but not intrusive.we cannot wait to come again after our stay in Kazbegi and spend 2 more nights in this lovely place. The beds were so comfy with lots of pillows, we slept very well.and I really liked how my eggs were cooked for breakfast, and tasty home made compot. And pancakes stuffed with cottage cheese- yum.

Too much stairs, almost 100 just to get to the room.
Dit is een prachtig hotel, met veel aandacht voor kunst, design en mooie details. Het zwembad is echt een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen, met een prachtig uitzicht over de stad, en alles was schoon en goed verzorgd. Omdat de Studio en het zwembad zo goed bevielen, heb ik uiteindelijk zelfs twee extra nachten bijgeboekt. Er is ook roomservice beschikbaar, al heb ik daar geen gebruik van gemaakt omdat er genoeg leuke restaurantjes op loopafstand zijn. Een bijzonder hotel dat ik zeker zou aanraden! :)
In had in eerste instantie de Loft geboekt, maar daar had ik direct spijt van. De Loft ligt buiten het hotel (under the castle) en stonk enorm naar vochtige schimmel. Geen prettige kamer. Gelukkig was de Studio nog vrij. De manager vroeg daar eerst 400 lari (!) extra voor... terwijl Booking een andere prijs gaf. Uiteindelijk goed opgelost. De ligging van de personeelskamer direct naast de Studio is wat ongemakkelijk. De deur stond open, waardoor je het personeel tijdens hun rustmomenten kon zien. Meer privacy voor zowel gasten als personeel zou prettig zijn.
Het bed in de Studio kraakte behoorlijk en het matras voelde vrij hard en mogelijk wat verouderd aan. Een comfortabeler bed/matras zou het verblijf verbeteren. Het ontbijtbuffet zag er niet overal even vers of uitnodigend uit. De yoghurt en omelet waren overigens wel vers en lekker.
Perfecte locatie
Die Abholung jom Flughafen und das bereitgestellte Zimmer nach drm Nachtflug war super. Das Personal äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Mein Zimmer war sehr schön und großzügig mit weitem Blick.
Ich würde das Hotel unbedingt weiter empfehlen. Danke.

Очень отзывчивый персонал, очень. Огромный номер.. Ванная комната как у королев. Настоящий замок. Красивый сад. Чистый бассейн с чудесным видом. Завтрак скромный, но всё свежее и вкусное. В пешей доступности центр старого города, река, стеклянный мост, театр марионеток, площадь свободы....Прямо возле отеля круглосуточный магазин. Каждый день уборка номера и смена полотенец.

Ontbijt was wel wat minder fancy voor de locatie en de drankjes bij de bar echt te duur en daardoor ook denk ik minder gezellig. Kan wel nog veel leuker worden!
Very quirky and unique hotel. Pool was great. Breakfast and service very good. Amazing collection of art and furniture in the hotel. If you want something completely different you’ll love it. Location also amazing in old town. Just be aware you’ve got to climb some stairs to access.
There was a bit of a mix up over an early check in but we ended up in the suite for a few hours before changing room so not at all bad. Our room on the entrance level was a bit on the damp side but it is a castle.
We absolutely loved our stay at Castle in Old Town!
The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and full of character. What made it especially unique for us was the owner’s private collection, which can be seen throughout the entire castle. Every little detail tells a story and adds so much atmosphere and charm to the experience of staying there.
Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the rooftop pool was absolutely amazing. Swimming while overlooking the whole area and the beautiful views of Tbilisi made our stay even more special.
The location is also excellent, very close to the Old Town and within easy reach of so many of the main attractions, restaurants and places to visit.
And above all, the staff were wonderful. They were kind, caring, attentive and helped us with everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made our experience even better.

The only disappointing part of our stay was the food. We found it quite simple and basic, and unfortunately, it was not very tasty. Considering the relatively high price of the room, we expected more thought, quality, and attention to be given to the food experience.
Stunning hotel with so much character! Our room was gorgeous and full of interesting features, with 2 outside areas and a fabulous shower, as well as a free standing bath.
Every little nook and cranny throughout the hotel has been really well thought out and landscaped or decorated with a great eye for detail. The pool area in particular was stunning and with some of the best views in Tbilisi!
The staff were delightful and attentive at all times. We had so many lovely interactions, particularly with Beka, Mika and Gigi, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. We felt very welcome from the start.
The only thing I would warn about is that the hotel was really hard to find on the first night, made harder because it was dark and drizzly. Even our taxi driver struggled to find it! The final approach to the hotel is inaccessible by car, and Google Maps was also quite misleading. In the end a kind local phoned the hotel for us and Gigi came and found us and took us there. It made much more sense in daylight!
Basically, you need to be dropped off at the corner of Betlemi Rise and Lado Astiani Street (there's a Spar on the corner). Walk uphill past Cafe Mellow on your left to the Betlemi Steps. Go halfway up the steps, and where the main steps go up yo the left, you need to go up the steps to the right instead. Pass the lower Betlemi Church to your left, and the hotel is tucked away just behind it. A sign at the crossroads of the Betlemi Steps where you have to take the right hand steps would make all the difference there! But honestly, the climb is totally worth it for the views you enjoy when you're there!
Also, if you drink decaf coffee/tea, best to take your own because they only provide caffeinated drinks.

Un des salarié s’est baigné en short de ville dans la piscine pendant que des clients y étaient
À notre arrivée le cendrier de notre chambre était rempli de cigarette des salariés qui fumaient sur la terrasse de notre chambre (nous étions au rez de chaussée dans la chambre familiale)
Un autre mangeait le petit déjeuner destiné aux clients
Et un autre salarié dormait sur un banc….
Bref beaucoup de personnel pour pas grande prestation
