If you book this make Sure you stay in the castle. They have many rooms and loft and appt that are outside... we first booked the loft and regretted it. The pool was fantastic, the room inside the castle aswell clean and nice decorated. The location is quite tricky if you have a lot of stuff because of the stairs. But they have really strong guys that do the heavy lifting. Thank you for that
There are very expensive rooms in the castle and I think everybody gets the same breakfast. It is simply not OK to pay 800 euro for the breakfast that is offered. But maybe the most expensive rooms have privet breakfast... I hope ...Also the staff is always present but is it sometimes difficult to say if it is staff or not but they are very friendly.
This place is stunning, in hindsight I would just have come for dinner to see it as it is historic and amazing. I did trip on the uneven cobbles and the saving grace of the hospitality was a staff member being kind and offering ice.
Staff yawning, smoking, generally not very friendly, uncommunicative, it was uncertain about their job roles. Breakfast is not until 8.30, and we missed it because of a trip, we were told by a staff member that coffee and cake would be accessible to us, which felt very awkward and another staff member tried to say no to this simple request, it felt hostile and unfriendly. In general his attitude was not ideal, the pool was cold and unclean, which he noted but did nothing about, very odd, perhaps it is cultural.
Удивительно красивый отель. Чувствуется что сделано с любовью. Прекрасный персонал. Очень удобное месторасположение. С удовольствием вернемся сюда и будем советовать друзьям.
Немного однообразный завтрак. Но мы были 6 дней. Если на 2-3, то не надоест.

Very unique location and design. Super friendly and helpful staff.
To find the property was a bit hard as it is a bit hidden. Breakfast was below expectations, some items ran out and couldnt be reordered.
We really liked the room - it was very clean, comfortable, and had a cozy terrace. The staff were especially helpful, always available, and solved any issues immediately. We also appreciated that they arranged an early breakfast for us when needed. The view by the pool was absolutely amazing and made our stay even more enjoyable.
We found the breakfast selection somewhat limited, so it could be improved.
De kamer was prachtig ingericht
Op booking.com stond dat het zwembad open was dit was dus niet zo.
Het ontbijt is niet altijd heel smakelijk. We hadden 1 dag oud brood.
De matrassen zijn oud en doorgezakt.
Het wordt slecht aangegeven waar het is. Je moet dus de heuvel op en dan de trappen op en dan naar rechts. Het lijkt dan de ingang van een kerk maar je loopt verder en dan staat er pas het bordje met residence old castle.
Als je verder loopt is er een leuke art pub heerlijke wijn gedronken.

The breakfast was basic, to say the least!! A fruit juice and toast with butter would have been nice.
Despite knowing there were a lot of stairs, I was still surprised by how many there were.
It was in a great location in the heart of the older part of town and near bars and restaurants. I liked it was a castle although in a kind of apartment/annex
I didn’t like the dark route to my accommodation it needed lighting. It was very dangerous as loads of broken things littering the path such as pains of glass and marble counters. The balcony was not safe. The outdoor chair was broken and like sitting on a guitar. The step into the property was bizarrely steep and dangerous. The arch in the room had no curtain or door letting in light. The mattress although deep was not even and uncomfortable. Also I didn’t like having to ring the iron door every time I went to breakfast or to go into the hotel. Not even a nice door. Very weird atmosphere. The pool was not working.

Enige minpuntje is dat het zwembad (nog) niet gevuld was tijdens ons bezoek.

В этом отеле сохранена аутентичность, все материалы экстерьера и интерьера из натуральных материалов: дерево, мрамор, метал. В номерах оригинальные картины художников и антикварные изделия. Персонал очень приветливый и дружелюбный. Завтраки, вкусные из качественных продуктов. Замечательная звукоизоляция. Хочу отметить приватность для гостей. Если Вы хотите уединиться, отдохнуть в тишине без шума и суеты - это идеальный вариант! Хочу поблагодарить владельца отеля Георгия и персонал - за прекрасно проведенное время в отеле, за отличный отдых.
